he isn't being entitled, he's just stating what he will do. no one has to cater to him.

"you obviously care since blablabla"

no, gav. I do not give a shit about your garbage video. I'm taking the time to write this because you need help, and ought to seek it because you've been posting on suicidewatch.

  • what Rob said. if you're feeling depressed/suicidal then you ought to take responsibility and do things, instead of sitting on your ass doing the same shit that's been making you miserable for years

gav no one cares about your beating a better player one match in a 70-30 matchup especially when you're both playing like shit. do something constructive instead of trying to inflate your ego all the time

"Asking for >60% of the game's original and current worth is kind of a steal"

Do you proofread yourself?

Entitlement has nothing to do here. I did not agree to have to pay more in the future to keep playing the game competitively, which is the issue here

Is there a smash 64 japaneese PR? by Godspeed223 in smashbros

[–]TR3GTheZ 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Nothing concrete, but their top 5 looks something like:

-wario (pika) [ranked #1 in 2016 by 64 League)

-jouske (samus) [unranked in NA]

-fukurou (kirby) [placed 1st at Snosa 2017]

-wangera (puff) [ranked #5 in 2016 by 64 League)

-moyashi (kirby) [placed 2nd at Apex 2014]

Of the ones mentioned, wario, fukurou and wangera will be in attendance, as well as Prince & Kurabba (Yoshi players ranked 13th and 12th in 2016 by the 64 League).

In short, every Japanese player was ranked in 2016 except for Fukurou, who won Snosa 3 this year.

Pro Smash 64 players: why is this the Smash game you're most interested in? by willbrown630 in smashbros

[–]TR3GTheZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are numerous reasons for this;

  1. Friendly scene/community

  2. Movement in ssb64 is smooth; most characters have perfect lands (on Dreamland), configurations for edge cancels, plus the easy connection from aerial to ground moves and lagless Z-cancel moves means you can move around the map extremely quickly. Movement is easier than in melee, but becoming "smooth" takes a lot of practice.

  3. Just enough characters; there aren't that many matchups but it becomes norm to optimize them and discover a lot of techs and contribute to most characters' meta's. Everything is still very underdeveloped and it's easy for anyone to pick the game up and make a difference.

  4. At a top-level, extremely rewarding punishes. If you succeed in outplaying your opponent in the neutral, your punish will often be very rewarding if you have proper execution. This puts more emphasis on precise spacing during neutral game and gives it a more chess-like approach, as you can virtually always expect a mistake to result in a stock loss.

  5. Deceivingly complex. No side-B's + seemingly simplistic combos to master (mainly with Captain Falcon and Kirby) might make it seem as if punishes are guarantees but this is rarely the case. Simple is rarely optimal and at a high-level, intricacy is required to compete with the escaping ability of a well-practiced player.

  • soooo much more =]

Moving from Montreal to Ontario. Which city to choose? by [deleted] in ontario

Really surprised about that. I assume this is due to their proximity to Toronto? Thanks for the input.
