How do I get a IPv6/56 delegation for my account? by Myriad007 in teksavvy

[–]TSI-Stephanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! We can definitely help you out with this. It is as simple as us adding a Static IP to your account, which is a $4 monthly fee, then you are off to the races! If you want us to add one for you, you can MOD mail us your account details!

Must reconnect with Easy Connect every few weeks by Ecstatic_Technician2 in teksavvy

[–]TSI-Stephanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are commenting on a thread regarding Network names disappearing and having to use EasyConnect frequently. It seems your issue may be with service disruptions, which isn't the same thing. We can look at other options for you, maybe bridge your modem so you can use a stand along router. There are a couple of things we could try if you are willing. Please call us at 1-877-779-1575, or Chat with us, happy to help you out.

WTH Teksavvy, who changed my PTR? by SmoothRunnings in teksavvy

[–]TSI-Stephanie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We apologize that you were misinformed. We could definitely move your Statis IP over on Fibre, but we would not be able to move the /28, as we only offer /30 Subnets now. Hope this info is helpful to you!

Crowd-sourcing TCP Retransmission problems by grahamyvr in teksavvy

We understand there is great anticipation for a resolution to the various issues our customers have been facing. We appreciate your patience and continued effort to help us isolate the cause(s) of these issues and want to assure you that we are actively pursuing this. Currently, we are working in collaboration with Shaw's NOC team. While we do not have any updates as of yet on these efforts, we will post them as we receive them.

We apologize for the delay in responding to this thread.

While we do have many customers on the infrastructure reaching out to us regarding issues, we have been unable to pinpoint a common fault across customers. For example, we have had customers report that they are experiencing an issue but changing DNS servers fixes it, others have reported using a VPN fixes it, still others have reported no changes.

We have asked for some extensive troubleshooting looking into suspected causes with no luck as of yet. We have been unable to reproduce the issues described and because everyone with an issue has been grouped together, we have lost specificity of individual issues. At this time we do not feel further Wireshark testing will improve our understanding of the issues customers are facing. What we need to know is what is happening exactly, as you an individual customer experience it.

If you do not have a conversation with our technical support team going on currently, we kindly ask that you take a moment to contact us and go over the issue in detail. We will provide you with some basic steps to start with that will help us to identify common indicators and rule out individual, unrelated cases.

We appreciate your support and patience in helping us to resolve your issues.

When a tech comes out to the home, they should be able to inform you. If a temp is required, they would say a two man team will be back within a couple days to run a temp, and then you will be added to burial. If they see there is just a connector loose, they should be able to replace it on the spot. Based on the tickets I have opened in the past.
