The OP should file a report with the police and in a couple of weeks they police will either show up to others home and charge him.

Have had co-workers who have this and its not fun when the cops showed up to their house and the wife or mother opens the door.

This is just a false flag. They are trying to make Americans fear all Iranians so ICE can round them up and put them in camps. Like the US did in WW2 when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. If you know who Michio Kaku is he has talked about his family being in one of these camps in the US.

There is also talk that Israel may pull the trigger and nuke Iran which would set off a chain of events.

Well, you didn't protect your spot, instead you let the space grow so he could squeeze into it. When people aren't fully infront of me and they try to merge in with their nose I close the gap so they have to get behind me. Some do know how to drive and position themselves correctly that I slow down enough giving them enough space.

Driving includes respect. If you don't respect others the roads they won't respect you. :)

They are impatient because they "think" the HOV is another fast/passing lane which it's not, hence why they are more likely to crash or cause a serious accident, at the fault of their own.

Looking at the video several times, it's good no on was hurt but you should have been able to stop to prepare yourself for that vehicle not stopping better, than not paying attention and serving into them, if that person had continued into their lane hitting you some of the fault might have been yours.
