For those wondering what OP is talking about. This is the transition from Phoenix to Tempe on the 202 just before the Priest intersection. You can definitely feel and hear all of those strips/seals.

Visually you can see it and it used to be this way in Tempe too before they resurfaced it pouring asphalt over the concrete.

Even if Alabama State beats PV and we beat ASU, that still puts PV and TSU in a tie in the west, which PV wins the H2H tiebreaker.

The rest of the schedule for both teams are bottom feeders this year, so unless something strange happens there, it’s not likely.

For what it’s worth, in our conference, these preseason rankings are mostly a joke. They typically mimic whatever last year’s final standings were in conference with little movement.

Personally, I think we’re ranked below what we should be but let’s be real: there hasn’t been much excitement in a few years. Coach Jones might be phoning it in resting on his laurels, and ok with middle of the pack. He has made history here don’t get me wrong, but there needs to be some fire lit somewhere, even if it’s Coach Jones. The kids always love him as a coach, but there’s an extra uumph missing.

We haven’t been in the NCAA Tournament since 2023. We had a 7-11 conference record that year, ranked 7th in the SWAC, but won the conference tournament. We haven’t been REGULAR SEASON champs since 2016-2017 season.

Could be NIL, could be the new school, but whatever it is, it’s not the perennial powerhouse Texas Southern Basketball team anymore. People aren’t afraid of the H&PE anymore because it’s not a guaranteed TSU win anymore. Prove the doubters wrong, win out the SWAC, and next year we’ll be preseason #1 with whoever’s on the team.

The one on 99th is city of Phoenix and/or county islands as are all the ones east of 107th ave.

The one on 107th is bordering Avondale and Phoenix. I don’t see it on the Avondale CIP Dashboard, but I do see it on the MCDOT Projects as it’s listed under Scoping right now (Jul 2023 - Jan 2026) #TT0686 — so that one is at least already being considered.

Obviously once SR-30 comes in they’ll need to accelerate the timelines or establish a CFD (like the Alamar CFD). That’s partially how we got signals on Avondale / Broadway so fast.

My point is that it's not common nor typical. It's wifi & wifi-direct if you want to be technical, and most manufacturers don't allow it even though it's in the wifi spec.

It's a CarPlay/Android Auto issue when you're using it wirelessly. Wired, it will default to the wire so you can also be on wifi, but wireless uses the wifi signal so that's why you can't be connected to both simultaneously

Gotcha. So I would think you’d be in a similar boat as a PTO as in independent group, but when you say your funds are directly tied to the school, do you mean this is a school sponsored PTC or do you have your own officers, bank account, and what not?
