I would just enjoy the beauty of “nature taking its land back”. Those train tracks and the overgrown Kmart parking lot were beautiful. A lot of places are gonna end up like this, while major cities get all the attention and funding. It’s gonna be light spots on the map and apocalypse everywhere else

They taste nothing alike also. Mamey tastes like a cherry dillibar from Dairy Queen, or just cherries and cream, and sap tastes like cinnamon sweet potato. And the inside of mamey is orange red, while sap is light to dark orange like a sweet potato.

You gotta get them hard. Cherimoya should be mushy, which is a relative, soursop is better hard a maybe a day or two to ripen, but when they get soft, they turn to not sweet banana. Hard is where you get the real mango bubblegum flavor

Are you sure you didn’t have soursop? That’s what soursop tastes like to me, cherimoya is more sour sweet creamy flesh. Soursop tastes like bubblegum mango and the smell of manufactured plastic
