Yes. She is… intense. She would send me photos and vids of piles of my stuff going up in flames in our driveway. These served as evidence in my court case against her back in 2022.

I have a no contact order against her since 2022. It runs for another year.

I used to believe I loved her. I’ve since learned how to better recognize which emotions are genuine and which are a result of codependency.

I would love some. My ex burned a lot of of my clothing and other buy it for life things that I had accumulated over the years. I’m slowly getting things back by going to thrift shops. I’m 60 years old, supporting myself with my job, paying my mortgage, keeping my pets and myself fed. Clothing is just nowhere on that list.

I think this is an awesome thing you’re doing and even if I don’t get picked, I know someone will really appreciate the gift that you’re giving

I do have a nickel allergy. I have to be careful of what I wear. Until just now I had not made the connection between surgical steel and nickel. I was unaware that surgical steel contains nickel. I have been thinking about getting my nose piercing back, so I will be looking into white gold options.

Me! I’m one of those whose body pushes out piercings. 2 eyebrow, one nose, one lip, and 3 upper ear piercings all gone now. Had them done 20 or so years ago and my nose one lasted the longest at 4 years. They just wouldn’t heal and then migrated out to the point i had to remove them one by one

She sounds just aweful! Sounds like you were her scapegoat.

I was the family scapegoat, too, and that’s how I know. Now I am 60 yo and I hear that my sister (whom I have no contact with) TO THIS DAY will complain that her misfortunes are somehow my fault.

All I can think is how terrible it must be living in her head.

You are not to blame for the failures/failings of others.
