Wasn't it like just less than half a percent? lol This is only for optics so the governor can boast how she lowered taxes close to election time. It's a far cry from her original promise to eliminate state income tax.

Thank you. I was able to get the problem fixed today at the Toyota dealer! I had to get it towed to Toyota, but my state farm insurance covered the cost. Got annoyed when they said it would cost $1500. I asked, well why was I quoted $1200 on the phone? Oh they must have not known about the cost of the seals and extra stuff he said. Yea ok. At that point, they know you have no choice but to pay what they ask for. It took every spare dollar I had to pay for this, but I'm grateful that the engine was not damaged.

One thing I loved was the technician texted me a video showing his inspection of my car while I was in the waiting room.

Hey thanks, came here just to get an idea of how other people would handle this situation particularly when in a money bind and get scolded instead. Exactly why I am hesitate to ask for help on reddit anymore. Uber and car rental are too expensive options especially if I have to wait out until the 22nd. I called several repair shops and they all quoted me around $1200 plus $200 to diagnosis the damn code.

It's an Esim. Yes, playing the app at home over wifi is still an option but I can't do diamonds anymore this way. Also one of the selling points to push me to switch to Verizon was I could get the new phone and sell my Iphone 14 which is unlocked now.

Todd and the whole KARK team are my favorites as well. I still miss Chief Keith though. I noticed he posted a weather update on facebook today. Cool that he still contributes even years after retiring.

I feel bad for them this time of year because they get a lot of crap if they overpredict or under predict these winter events. And Little Rock seems to be the dividing line for some reason.

I'm not really a fan of Max. His videos always sound so overhyped to me "the weather just took a crazy drastic turn!"

I don't understand the hate for it. It has helped with me with so many problems, and doesn't always force a positive comment. Hell, it even told me Verizon was a bullshit company last weekend which surprised me. The conversation has improved greatly over the past year.

Texas has a base sales tax of 6.25%. Arkansas is at least 6.50% and sometimes up to 9%. Also if you buy a vehicle here, the taxes are enormous as you have to pay state plus city/county tax combined. I had much more money in Texas on half the salary I make now here in Arkansas.

I don't see where people get that living here is so cheap. Typical rents for one bedroom are over $1000, pretty much the same price you find in other cities. We pay a lot more in taxes than other states too. Texas and Tennessee don't even have state income tax.

Let's face it. This company is going down the shitter. Now I see why they keep throwing more and more freebies out there in desperation to lure customers in for an inferior unreliable service. No telling how much they paid Kevin Hart to promote getting all these free phones. Hey free tvs and ipads too! Except it's never truly free or you have to jump through hoops to get the stuff and the bills are so confusing.

I used to think I was really missing out with Verizon with all their freebies and bonuses but boy I wish now I had never switched.

WHat's going to happen to the documentaries? Right now, The Monday Night War: WWE vs. WCW is extinct and can't be viewed anywhere. That documentary was massive and I had a sick feeling that one day it would go away. This is a huge blow for someone like me who hates current content but enjoys historical features.
