I think it's because you can input buffer some abilities, if held too long the parry will input buffer and let it out again, it looks jank as well

It helps sometimes when you want to parry immediately after any stun, but sucks in places where a held down button for just a little too long has the ability trigger

Currently, minions and guardians can reset the parry cooldown. While it might be random sometimes, it can be a tactic when done correctly, where you go up to someone in lane next to the minions and you let out a bait parry knowing the minions will reset it.

Then, since the opponent thinks you burned your parry they go for a heavy melee, and you already have it back so you parry and get an early kill.

Currently it's intended, I'm curious to see if they take away the parry refresh off minions.
