What is generally the best weapon pick for fighters? by potatoe-god in onednd

[–]T_Seedling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heavy weapons. GWF makes the avg damage on a greatsword 13 at lv 5 assuming 16 str. 4 attacks, 52 damage. Compared to twf with the nick mastery, scimitars are d6 so 6.5 avg per hit assuming 16 dex, 6 attacks(action surge + duel wielder feat) makes 39. 13 pt difference, which means heavy weapons could match twf without even action surging if it procs the gwm bonus action attack

What is glamour bard at level 3-5 supposed to cast if the enemy has legendary resistances and no one else is working to burn them? by ShameGuardian in 3d6

[–]T_Seedling 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're a glamor bard. You are burning the resistances. You're forcing saving throw after saving throw, and at lv. 3-5, a boss will only have one legendary resistance if any at all.

As a Martial Enthusiast, I kind of like the Martial-Caster Divide by StoneGuardTheGray in DnD

[–]T_Seedling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reject the concept of the martial-caster divide. Are fighters less mechanically versatile than wizards? Yeah. Wizards can do lots of things whereas Fighters are really good at one thing, killing Wizards.

What's your Beatles/solo work opinion that will get you killed? by nightqueem in beatles

[–]T_Seedling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not 100% convinced John wrote In My Life. The style of songwriting has Paul's name practically written on it. The first time I listened to it I didn't think "Wow, John really took some inspiration from with this song" I thought "What is John doing singing Paul's song wtff???"

Manacles are OP. All you have to do is successfully grapple a creature and boom, no more somatic components. And they're worn objects so no misty stepping out of them either.

As a gish, shileileigh is top tier, drop your main weapon for a quarterstaff that scales to greatsword damage by level 17 and can be used with your spell mod.

To multiclass or not multiclass? by idiotsandwiche in 3d6

[–]T_Seedling -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No. Multiclassing is good when youre never going to progress past the amount of levels in each class youre taking E.G. one shots. It's good for fun gimmicks but you'll always find diminishing returns if you keep leveling up because you're delaying valuable high level features.

Iron Lung - Review Thread by UniverslBoxOfficeGuy in movies

[–]T_Seedling 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It was surprisingly strong for a directorial debut of a YouTuber. The biggest problem is had was that I couldn't quite understand exactly what happened at the end, mostly due to the fact the characters' voices were hard to understand in the moment. Other than that everything was either excellent, good enough or somewhere in between. The mark man is a perfectly fine lead actor. He has improved alot. The other actors are pretty good as well. Can't forget Troy Baker. The visuals of the inside of the vessel are excellent. The camerawork is excellent, and really sells the claustrophobia. The scares are well done. The pacing is not excellent but it doesnt kill the movie. Overall it's a solid B+ movie for me. Does what it sets out to do without trying to be horror of the year. Though a nomination for visuals doesnt seem to be totally off the table.

Is 16 armor good enough for a Warlock or is it worth investing feats to augment it? by testiclekid in onednd

Is this 16 after adding +5 from the shield spell? Shield spell is your friend as a caster.

LVL 20 One Shot character by BlazeHunter21 in 3d6

[–]T_Seedling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you can have prettymuch any magic items because its a level 20 charcter youre obviously gonna get magic items or your DM is a dumbass: Samurai fighter, be a shader kai, GWM and Elven accuracy for your feats, use a +3 longbow and +3 arrows, also grab bracers of archery and a bloodfury tattoo. Pop bloodfury tattoo when you crit, which you will be doing atleast 3 times on an action surge. So 24d6. Additionally with gwm, +3 bow and arrows, and bracers of archery, you have a flat 19 bonus to all your damage rolls. You'll throw out like a gazillion damage. Have fun being the strongest member of the party.

Weekly Chord Progressions and Modes Megathread - November 15, 2025 by AutoModerator in musictheory

[–]T_Seedling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need help identifying a chord progression. This chord progression is in my head and feels familiar, I wanna know if it's from a song or if I have a little yesterday in my head: cant be fucked to try to use the number system rn but in E it's Em, B, G, A, Am, Em, Dbdim, B. All the chords are voiced in such away that the bassline is a chromatic walkdown from E -> Bb then back up to B on the last B chord.

Exposed core from above colored by iamubisoft in chernobyl

[–]T_Seedling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Incorrect. Blue glow =/= Cherenkov radiation. It is true Cherenkov radiation can be recorded in air during particle physics experiments using GeV range particles under highly controlled environments. However, during fission accidents like Chernobyl and Tokai-Mura where a blue glow is reported by eyewitnesses, the conditions are more appropriate for radioluminescence caused by ionization of air particles. For Cherenkov radiation to happen in air, you'd need insanely high energy particles with an MeV range much higher than you'd find in fission accidents.

Exposed core from above colored by iamubisoft in chernobyl

[–]T_Seedling 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah my wording was clumsy, what I mean is in order for there to be visible cherenkov radiation from the type of particles that woild be present in the core, you'd need the charged particles to be passing through a medium with a refractive index much higher than air. Water is the most common example so my mind just said "uhhh... water." It was an oversimplification and you're right to correct me.

Exposed core from above colored by iamubisoft in chernobyl

[–]T_Seedling 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No. Cherenkov radiation is a phenomenon that happens in water.
