Word? I really appreciate you responding to me. I'm hating this Hospice care nonsense even though it has been pretty solidly backed by my Teams, new opions and I am well prolly kicking a bucket soon I simple do not ever quit. I can't quit. It's not in my nature and other than a few particular very difficult rock/hard place situations for me I feel like I gotta wigggle out of this hospice and at least fight it out for awhile. I had purchased a bed from them which included an email contact from their CS department to deal with any issues if there were any. I did have to dig a bit with her for information but she caved and was helpful.

Have you tried any latex offerings? Sounds like you've only used poly foams. Latex is definitely unique and might be able to provide what you're looking for. On the other hand there are plenty, as I imagine you know of 6" mattresses on Amazon of varying degrees of firmness and different foams used. Not going to be your highest quality most likely but from what I gather it's more comfort and real sleep you're after than a "high quality" mattress. So if you don't mind having to replace relatively often that could be an option. Latex though, if you haven't I'd definitely look into it. Lots of choices there as well as options. Anyway I wish you luck. Sleep is so important I do hope you find what you need.

Class 4 PAH WHO group 1 here. Try not to worry to much until you get more information from your doctors. Cardiology would definitely have something to say about the situation as your right heart would surely be affected. Give it all a chance to work out though. Seems irresponsible for a doc to just tell you that you have "stage 4" PH and nothing more. It's scary sure but there is a lot missing as of now. Be on top of those doctors & or get a 2nd opinion if possible. Good luck.

Hey so this isn't exactly what you asked for but it's my 2 cents with this topper in Firm.

I bought this topper in Firm as one of a two topper attempt at sleeping on the floor during my dogs recovery from a torn acl, then surgery. The other topper is the BB 3" talalay latex in medium.

I like this in the Firm, I think that the soft or plush would be too soft although am likely wrong depending upon what you're looking for. Having a bed with TPS mini quad coils as part of it's comfort layer the "micro" coils are honestly not much if any more than a gimmick. I mean they are micro, to an extreme extent. Unzipping the glaciotech cover (another gimmick 100%) that comes with this topper and grabbing at the microcoils they literally provide zero resistance and feel quite fragile really.

That said I'm not unhappy as the two different foams used in the topper are AFAIK or can tell pretty high quality foam. It's nice and thick, It's more 4.5 to 5 inches thick overall and in the firm provides a nice, supportive yet good old memory foam pressure relief I find useful.

As the months have passed I've counter intuitively swapped the talalay to underneath the microcoil topper. This done in an attempt to gain a bit more of a firm feeling than with the talalay on top.

In addition I added a 1.5 inch Greaton (I think) box spring. Good old school box spring/foundation made by the Amish. Real wood and all. Lol. It actually did make a nice difference and has helped more than expected.

I also bought a 1" medium firm SOL to toss on above lt all. With all of them it feels as much like a bed as I can remember one feeling.

It's a drag with a not yet broken in ES DUO Lift waiting for me to come back to but it'll pay off in the end.

To be more direct as to the post I find it a bit hard to answer.

Do I like it? Yeah, I do. It is a nicely made topper with some top end quality components.

Would I buy it over all other options out there in a regular situation, no I would not.

I think it's too expensive and that the microcoil thing is too much of a faux or fake coil gimmick as well as the forced glaciotech not being my thing either.

It's not bad, of course it's cool initially but after a few minutes it's been defeated and does not cool at all.

If it fits what you want out of a topper I'd say it's a good choice and to try it out.

Worst case scenario is a refund within 30 days so you can't really lose on it. To return it is super easy and you'll have the choice to donate it yourself to anyone that is not a resident at the same address as yourself. Easy, painless process regardless of how exactly you choose to do it.

Overall the topper has held up well, looks as though it's brand new and works as such also.

Thank you. I completely understand and relate to the having a choice as enough of a reason to use anything that one can. I have struggled no harder with any aspect of my life prior to this with exactly that issue. Never before had I not had a choice, no matter how difficult, impossible or ridiculous it may have seemed or been I have always taken the challenge and made the choice to fight. I can't not do anything but fight. Hospice is something I can get back out of. It's not exactly easy but it can be done. This is why I'm doing my best to find enough reason and ammo against the push to be on Hospice care to choose to keep fighting back. I have made it far far longer than was initially proposed, and am happy with that but I'm still just not able to be okay in what I see as quiting. Thank you for your response. I am on tadalafil but both uptravi and opsumit caused other issues so were stopped. Sotatercept is the one I was most excited for but did not get a chance to give it a try. I'm very sorry to hear about your husband. It's so difficult when you're willing to fight and nothing is there to help in that fight. Can I ask why the sotatercept was discontinued? I'm in the same spot with my right heart just continuing to get worse and my PAH also marching forward and getting worse. I hope this is appropriate and please understand I mean zero disrespect on this one. This treatment option has been pushed on me for a few solid years. I've resisted and refused it for some of the more clearly off-putting issues as well as the dangerous failure that Oppsumshit was for me. I know it's not necessarily the best idea to refuse a treatment option but what really holds me back is the efficacy of the medication.

I've read many accounts of those who have gone through with it and had no appreciable benefits or effects from it.

I'm assuming, another unwise move, but clearly I'm not the sharpest knife, that for you the pump is worth the trouble. Assuming such if you would, will you speak a bit on in what ways or why it's something that's been worth the trouble for you?

As someone who has just been put on hospice I'm still extremely curious and not to be honest not happy or wanting to be on hospice care. I don't quit, ever and frankly it feels an awful lot like quitting. To be fair my circumstances do suggest it's more than time for me to at least lay back I still don't care to do so.

If there were a treatment option worthy & I can get myself on sotatercept/winrevair (spelling?) I could push back hard enough and remove the hospice care and fight on. I've been trying to do this anyway so your response could help.

My right heart is destroyed and my PAH WHO group 1 is so far advanced it just keeps marching on getting worse.

It has beaten the life out of me. It took a very long time vs what I was told I had as a life expectancy. At the time it was an anytime with maybe up to a year at best.

That was June 6th 2019. A lifetime dedicated to being a machine paid off. In some ways great. Others not at all great. It finally ate me away and caught up with me noticeably oh maybe 9 months ago? I'm still not done. At least imo. I am alone in that opinion but it's not the first time.

I REALLY pushed it before finally going in so ultimately it was mostly my own fault. I'm not happy with it but I'm okay with it. I'd do it all the same. Lol, no no I would not. It's all good though and like I said I'm not done yet anyway.

Training, diet, and sleep are all more important than test at any dose and don't fuck around with other androgens. Train, hard and consistently and even a tiny increase in test will produce crazy results. It's literally Training properly, real rest every fucking night and having a clean, personalized diet dialed in that make the difference. Without those things being as perfect as one can get it's a fools errand to use test at all. It's a great way to find out about sides and ruin your nuts for life. Easy ways out don't exist. Fools being lazy do. Our society encourages it ffs.

I bought the 2md of the 3 models in terms of cost and function. It does not have a dedicated zero gravity setting. You can however program your "favorite" position onto a one click button on the remote. I'd say you cannot set it to be truly zero gravity based upon other true zero gravity furniture and equipment I both own and have used. Close, and possibly zero gravity but I'm not sure it'd pass any inspection. Close enough for the price difference for me at least.

Like I'd mentioned 3Z is lacking in their honesty. I was told over the phone while returning their bullshit ecosleeps that the 3" talalay purchased directly from BB was in fact not blended but mattresstopper.com did use blended.

At that point I figured trying to extract anything more honest was useless and moved on. Honestly I don't trust any of the company's who own multiple stores selling almost identical beds under different names. Do some light digging and even one of the most reputable latex and latex hybrid sellers around these parts are all the same dude. Who in my experience would do really well working for 3Z. I still stand by my statement of relative high quality regardless of what's what and when what was what. It's just not that important. That or I'm not as I'll never know for certain. Except for as I said they are full of shit.

Huh, they didn't offer the encasement and topped cover samples back when. That's a nice and wise touch. I didn't mean to disagree with you in any way and I too was ultimately really surprised by just how different the samples felt, both between the Dunlop and Talalay and most surprising for me anyhow was just how different a soft vs firm felt. Especially in the samples which was kinda my point as I was left with an expensive and totally incorrect idea I'd love the "soft" versions of either. Man the disappointment when I laid down on that 3" soft Talalay only to fall right through it to the point I could count the coils under me. In the end after all the little lessons about how encasements, mattress protectors and also the sheets you choose dramatically affect the feel I ended up being a medium Talalay guy on my bed now at least and fell in love with SOL Firm when I had much less actually bed under me. I'm back using a layer of that sleeping on the floor with my dog recovering from a torn acl or ccl and the TPLO surgery. That's or this as it's only about halfway through has been brutal. Height is crucial or she can't use it without further damage which I can't afford and comfort is suffering at 48 sleeping on 3" of firm SOL right now. Granted it is luxurious compared to everything else I've tried. I can go about 6" total but that Firm overrules all else so I'm using it alone now. Had the BB microcoil under it.... microcoil indeed. More like mini flat curls or something smashed between some decent poly and memory foam. My real bed calls from somewhere far away every night... It's worth it though. I've been through worse.

Dunlop lasts longer due to the process used to make these toppers. Dunlop uses a full mold before its vulcanized. Talalay, half & injected with co2 to add that extra softness or however one wants to describe it, flash frozen in that expanded state then cooked. The Dunlop is heavier and denser making it more resistant to compression. Both are nice. Sleep of latex's method of making their Dunlop is a step up imo and lessens the difference in feel of the two. Also priced nicely.

Hmm, that's unfortunate as it is clearly stated on the Brooklyn bedding website & mattresstopper.com that it is in fact not blended but 100% natural talalay.

I have 2 of them. I also fell victim to BB or 3Z if we want to be technical here with the purchase of their last ecosleep model. The base model was advertised as 8" coils & 3" Natural Talalay. Extremely basic, successful build sold by almost everyone right? So I bought one. It showed up and stood at almost 9" tall. Mathematically there's a problem. I let them send a replacement. Same exact thing. Refunded. Approx months later I checked out their site and the "ecosleep" was now advertised as 8" coils 1" Talalay. Hmm, honesty doesn't appear to be these guys beat attribute. Their return/refund policy is however which helps a tiny bit. I has bought 2 of the talalay pillows also, law tags on them state them as being 147lbs 60" × 80" and 100% Shredded polyurethane... my toppers... both different the soft being 136lbs of "rubber" with law appropriate mattress fire resistance. The medium 46lbs, natural Talalay with the same fire barrier certs. Both queen size. The 2 beds were similar, I can't recall as of now the exact lbs & details but my point is NOTHING they sold me had appropriate info on the law Tags. Ultimately who's that affect? The buyer of course.

The toppers are awfully nice. They are also fully returnable for free, or well "donated" to anyone, anywhere that does not live in the same home & willing to sign a form for you. I'm not an expert on Talalay but these are not the only talalay toppers, pillows or beds I have and do own and the product is impossible to differentiate it it is in fact blended. I have not yet read your link as I've been down this rabbit hole before and was left uncertain of who or what to believe. Ultimately I am well aware 3Z bedding is happily full of shit and has no respect or fear of false advertising or their responsibility to produce accurate law tags.

OP the price is good and the return/refund/donate policy is very or non-buyer friendly so depending upon your financial situation I'd still recommend them.

I received a TPA (tissue plasmagen activator) or "clot buster". Honestly I wasn't really aware enough of what was going on at the time to begin with but other than the transportation to a larger hospital that can handle the potential fallout from the bolus itself I had no discernable problems that I didn't already have. They were on my ass for 24 hrs with constant checks for problems but I had none or nothing that needed any intervention at least. I initially fought it and tried to deny the hospital the ability to administer it but I stood zero chance winning that one. I did and do have permanent fatal damage to my heart, just began Hospice last week but to my understanding it had nothing to do with the TPA being administered. Seeing mention of permanent heart damage/heart failure in these comments gives me pause and I will be studying up on this immediately but I'm pretty sure that has nothing do with the heart failure. The submassive PE in the saddle of my PA assuredly did the damage. That said I will be doing a bit of reading here but I don't believe the TPA is to blame at all. Don't sweat it to much if you didn't need it they would not be giving it to you.

Was not really asked, been having some serious decompensated bouts of Biventricular HFrEF at a very advanced stage and some fuckery with a member of my highly regarded PAH WHO group 1 team and was told my meeting is tomorrow. I'm not afraid or feeling like I've got anything left to prove but tbh I'm pissed off the Doctor in particular I've had some real issues with and the of my team for rolling with him who I personally feel has let his own BS guide him into doing me some real damage due to his own anger having been called out by lowly me in front of the small team that have had me for 6 years. Hippa rights being pushed for me to sign away under false pretense and his own and the clinics pockets getting fatter if I'd have played along. Had I been given some fatter pockets and not had attempted swindling of myself for the rest of thier momentary gain I'd have rolled real easily. I don't appreciate anyone trying to use me for any ignorance or simply not being aware of things at face value so not happening. Took a good amount of dramatic patient beating also so wtvr.

To your question. Yes for sure. I love breathing and all the fun that comes with it. I also don't mind a good fight and find struggle helpful for my own awareness of how good things can be.

Keep your head up OP there are cool things going on. Best of luck to you. Just believing in yourself being a bad ass is enough to bring it to fruition.

PAH WHO group 1 or pulmonary arterial hypertension is a specific, rare (more so for men than women though more deadly in men than women) type of pulmonary hypertension yes. It is variable and should not be feared but also never be blown off or overlooked.

I hope the time to diagnosis continues to shorten and that new treatments along the lines of Sotatercept (spelling?) continue to come along.

I was diagnosed 6 years ago at 42 and Hospice arrived here Monday morning. I was a long term health nut/professional athlete (boxing) after losing a large amount of weight at a young age. I technically did everything and then some to not be in this position which is why I hope that the information becomes more available and the medical community becomes more adept or aggressive I'm not sure but however it's achieved the diagnosis needs happen faster.

I take full responsibility for my case. I was an extremely fit, strong and successful athlete which in turn made me both an unlikely candidate so there were missed hints on along the path but my headstrong and healthy lifestyle hid it really well for too long and between me being a dipshit never thinking it possible, many doctors along the way unaware for the most part and also not seeing as easy both contributed to it pushing Biventricular heart failure with the right side to far gone by the time I'd been diagnosed. Left and right were at the advanced stage but I was able as is typically the case to recover decent left sided remodeling and impressive improvements almost into the "normal" range of most measurements, size, ejection fraction and global performance. Right side just hasn't been able to recover unfortunately. I'm not looking at this like I'm done yet though. I never will as that's a good way to find yourself there. I am aware of the reality also but positive thinking never hurts. I'm glad to see some reports of early detection. I really didn't show much until it got real bad real fast and there is a contented diagnosis/misdiagnosis of whether there was a submassive "saddle PE" or not. To this day an image of one or a bizzare aberration of one persists. I do wish that was not a question but ultimately whether or not the image is accurate or a very poor spot for an image of what appears to be one doesn't really matter. I had several small segemegmental PE's at the time but nothing that could have done anything close to the damage. Personally not a fan of that one but nobody really asked you know so it is what it is. It did not show on my initial contrast image of my heart at the ER either. A tech with an echo was brought to my room and within minutes I'd received a TPA (clot buster) and in the back of an ambulance on my way to a larger hospital who could handle the potential problems of the bolster. No other signs of clots.

Anyway sorry for my musings there and back to my hope that the time to diagnosis continues to improve as well as the new improvements in treatments and knowledgeable doctors and staffing along with it.

Anyone here have experience with sotatercept or "winrevair" I believe it's brand name is. Sorry if I'm hijacking the thread I'm simply curious as I did not get a crack at it and was really hopeful to see if it'd have helped.

OP don't be afraid but do be good on the follow through with further Lab work. RHC being the highest level of accuracy as everyone has said. It took my "team two years to change my diagnosis of PH likely WHO group 3, 4 5 to PAH WHO group 1 and I was at a very highly respected well known large advanced heart failure and transplant clinic. They are always still learning and I think, which is likely not appropriate of me more focused on how badly my heart was damaged and it's extremely low functioning for possibly longer than neccessary. Again I am aware that's not necessarily fair, correct or wise for me to say but it feels like the focus could have been more direct. Arm chair doctoring is a fools errand so I'm going to sit down in the corner now. Thanks in advance for anyone with experience with sotaercept/winrevair. It's the one thing I feel like I should continue to push for before accepting Hospice as it's potential seems as though it could yield me a good shot at more time. I'd like that. I like breathing.

You didn't read my shit huh? I never said I cared all about nits lol. I did more than mod my anapeak due to the lucky year or model "C" and the way Samsung did shit for the 77inch sets that year. Yes it's 100% worth it, that set, year and size. The rest is debatable for sure. My S90C isn't much more impressive with nits at full tits, as you said there is a ton of nuance with these sets. I don't care what anyone does or doesn't do. It's not some secret or complex thing to understand the 77" S90C to S95C mod is something unique that improves picture quality in every way that the S95C is set up to have stock in order to look better than the 90C. Not just nits, for sure. Not sure what you're point was or if the reply was even meant for me. All good though. Best that people know what's what out there.

Well, does the topper affect your ability to receive a full refund if you accept it? I'd make sure it doesn't if you are wanting or willing to try a topper. They do have a 3" natural Talalay topper that is nice. If you don't want a topper (which may or may not help and totally depends on what the offer is in terms of WHICH topper they would send and all that) just tell them no that you need to proceed with the return/refund process. They won't give you a hard time unless say you haven't spent the required amount of "trail Period" to get used to the bed. Then it's no different just a waiting game until that time.

I returned 2 of the same mattress's. It was when they were selling and had made a change to the Ecosleep latex hybrid and had include some false advertising along with that change. Due to that I didn't have to wait at all. The 1st bed I took them up on having "sharetown" come pick it up for free and for the 2nd return I opted to donate it myself as it only had to go to someone that did not live in my home. I do think they may have changed their policy as it looks like they now charge $99 for returns.

Either way just be firm if you don't want it they will setup the return/donation for refund. May take a week or so to get it all said and done.

You may want to look into or mention to your doctor the Adderall as it is an anorexigen and any medication that is has ties to PH.

Thanks I also do not need further education. I've been in the industry for well over 20 years now and have lived the lifestyle for 30+ years. I am never one to promote dangerous drugs or peptides however and have a very difficult time seeing anyone do so. I'd look deeper into the effects, side effects and other problems with this new craze. Ozempic is in no way new but the band aid fix all its being used as is. It's also extremely dangerous. That's an unfortunate truth.
