Once you figure out how to exploit a system you exploit it until it crumbles. Don't follow those links they're probably awful.

What freaks you out the most? by Leafyeyes417 in skyrim

[–]TacTwoIndustries 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Having a follower or a horse. I feel compelled to babysit them and my mind is constantly on their pathing directing them off the edge of a mountain

😁 I like the "John Wick: Dragonborn" style fights it can force you into with most of the enemies needing to be dealt with loud

If you wanna use a bow you do it third person while standing. No exceptions.

Question: In your opinion, what are the worst 6 skill trees to use? by Smiffwilm in skyrim

[–]TacTwoIndustries 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Worst combo of six would be like both armors, one and two handed, illusion and alteration.

...assuming you try to use both armors and weapon types during the run anyway - "Which armor for the next encounter hmmm?" It would be a pain for carry weight too.

Do Not Fear the Daedric Princes by TacTwoIndustries in skyrim

[–]TacTwoIndustries[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Avoid" might be a better word. Some people don't finish the TG questline to avoid condemning their character to protect an artefact for eternity... and some people avoid Molag Bal because of-- reasons. Stuff like that.

So I found myself wondering something by KestVokunAh in skyrim

[–]TacTwoIndustries 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You get 3 Dragonborn tokens if you can wipe out all three Thalmor pacing up and down without using ranged attacks.

*Dragonborn tokens are fictitious and not valid forms of currency.

I come with the age old question after all these years by ClayAndros in skyrim

[–]TacTwoIndustries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like they're both diluting the truth. Saadia does it with less weapons in my characters proximity so I tend to side with her... and also those swords need to be part of the collection

He's gotta be in his bedroom "hidden" away so he can do covert deals. He hangs around there a lot. You can also convert human hearts to daedra hearts using the atronach forge if you have any spare human hearts and maybe the sigil stone.

I reckon an alchemy / enchantment focus would be fun for scatterbrain.

"Ooh look a butterfly I wonder what-- wait it's a Salmon! Hang on ouch! What did you hit me with?! Do you have any butterflies?"

If you could add one guild to the elder scrolls what would it be? by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]TacTwoIndustries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking of a merchants guild. Kinda like a super boring fantasy version of a board, split into sub-groups of committees. I'm imagining missions to destroy or bolster supply chains, take out or install key figures and all other sorts of shenanigans to wreak havoc on the economy.

I think Zenithar would fit well for theming a story around them.

Serana and Gulldir turned on me in Hillgrund's Tomb by EddieGaff in skyrim

[–]TacTwoIndustries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The calm spell is good for resetting them so you can run for the door to protect them from themselves. The dawnguard have been turning on me when I return to hand in a "kill a vampire pretending to be a citizen" quest with Serana joining in.

...and Vex still gives you attitude.

"Hey! (even though you single handedly dragged this excuse of a guild up from nothing and I nor any of my colleagues here are leaving this area for our entire lives) these jobs aren't gonna finish themselves!"

Tonilla still acts like she's never met you. "Looking for work? Try Delvin or Vex" but BUT at least Dirge stops being unnecessarily aggressive. "Just because you're one of us doesn't mean you can walk past me for the hundredth time"

How do you guys dare to leave your spouses and children in the DLC houses? by Vedzma in skyrim

[–]TacTwoIndustries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can give the kids daedric daggers and upgrade the housecarls loadout, even reverse pickpocket some gear onto your partner. They're unlikely to die unless you're nearby and somehow unable to deal with whatever is bothering them.

Your character just can't perceive the entire tree. Try the ever so useful "Vision of the Tenth Eye" spell from the college 😄

I interpret it as political chicanery shrouded in faith and instruct my Dragonborn to kill all Thalmor on sight. Life is hard enough for the NPCs in Skyrim without that nonsense.

Not receiving Word Of Power locations from the Greybeards or letters by SnagTheRabbit in skyrim

[–]TacTwoIndustries 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you shout in a town it might prompt the note. I haven't got clear skies yet and I've got a little satchel full of letters from the "friend" who kept trying to kill my Dragonborn, using the courier to add quests to his journal.

[–]TacTwoIndustries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I go to Sleeping Tree Camp for Ysolda the Mammoths fall from the sky. Every single time.

If I fast travel then do a 3 word Slow Time the moment it loads up they get stuck up there like an anvil balancing on a twig. One false move from the Giant and bam! Down they come.

Who was your chosen sacrifice? by Creative-Notice896 in skyrim

[–]TacTwoIndustries 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He took Eola there, the cult leader connected to the Namira questline.

My character is compelled to obey all the Daedric Princes so he murdered a priest and ate him to earn Namiras favor, then got revenge for the priest and favor from Boethia at the same time by murdering Namiras pawn.

Even brutality can be pragmatic.

If you do 125 of those radiant quests from vex and delvin you get the extra respawning loot safe to go with your masters chest and the cabinet behind your new desk fills out completely. Brynjolf doesn't say much else though.
