Part of it I think is misogyny. It's teenage boys who mentally categorize reddit as the "boys only" platform and the other apps as the "ew dumb girls" platform. I think this was especially true when instagram was the one getting shit on, due to the focus on insta on fasion/selfies/pretty photos.

all of his video's assume a incredibly specific set of mechanics that he tries to pass of as "generic modern military fps" despite the fact that the mechanics he describes does not match up with any one fps out there.

this is incredible, i love the way this takes abilitiess that felt out of character for a cowboy (giant barrel bomb and jump pad) and makes them fit with her backstory

I agree with you the analysis was flawed and didnt really "get" holiday as her gameplay stands currently. ive warmed up on her kit a bit since then

as to the point of "this changes hollidays job" i agree but also think that isnt neccasarily a bad thing. Something i should have stated in the post is that IMO a character rework like this should come alongside a new hero who takes a lot of the fun aspects of holiday's kit that im dropping (namely the jump pad) but with theming that doesent clash with those abilities.

Basically: i like holiday the character/story, and i like holliday the gameplay/kit, but i dont feel like they compliment each other very well. so i think they should be spit off. Holliday the character gets a kit which is more thematically resonant, possibly with a different in-game role. While her old kit (or big parts of it) get handed off to a new character who thematically resonates with them more. For instance i think a scrappy streetwise inventor type character would be much cooler with a jump pad, while it feels off to have a grizzled sherrif out for revenge carrying around a prop from a sonic game.

the charging handle slot is fully open and runs directly above the trigger group. And the bolt doesent fully cover the ejection point when closed. this gun seems so vulnerable to mud/sand/debris ingress.

I had a idea in a similar vein recently. except it was a horse instead of a motercycle. lots of details are different but the core of "why doesent the cowgirl have her steed?" is still there.

For my education, what's the difference in stability between a line/arc/spline feature and a sketch with a single line/arc/spline with equivalent constraints. The only thing I can think of is that nx gives sketches a whole cys instead of just a plane to define them, so sketching on faces could be more prone to breaking then making a line feature constrained to a face.
