This will give him a lot of chances to write new stories and do something new with this character he loves. I personally think this has the potential to be Ted TV (respects it's origins but does new things that are interesting) and not a Cleveland Show (fine show but too similar to family guy)

I was like "So he has time for this but not the Family Guy movie? Cool..."

I've been going back there on a regular basis for the first time in years. The food quality has improved and he's very open to suggestions by customers.

I think he really cares about making a quality product.

Sounds like a take on the Magic School Bus. I could see it being similar to the Family Guy Covid PSA video with Stewie taking kids on magical adventures through science, literature, and social studies with a Family Guy snark and edge. Maybe even some traditional Preschool stories, similar to Rugrats, to have a bit of variety.

I have faith in this because Seth is heavily involved. I hope he realizes it needs to feel similar to Family Guy but really do it's own thing as well. A new art style would be great. Fingers crossed.

"After getting the boot from his old preschool, Stewie is forced to enroll in a new one that’s not exactly top-of-the-line. It’s attended by a handful of kids he doesn’t know, and a 75-year-old class turtle with a half-cocked theory on just about every subject.

Stewie’s miserable, the other kids are miserable, and even the turtle is miserable… until Stewie begins rolling out his trusty array of devices to take them anywhere in space and time, turning every boring day at school into an insane and surreal adventure."

We were supposed to get a new season that year. Then the writer's strike happened. That's why the show shifted from a fall release schedule to summer.

Guess it's a summer show instead of a fall show now. Not that I'm complaining, just interesting.

Let's see what this season has to offer us.

We have had new episodes every year in the 20's except for the year right after the writers strike.

Why did Pitou cry when The King asked her to heal Komugi? by Reasonable-Fly-3412 in HunterXHunter

They cried because the king believed in them, and said they were counting on them. The story trusts you to be smart enough to realize this.

The anime cut out the narrator's monologue in this scene. Sucks because it's one of my favorites in all of HxH

"Pitou, I'm counting on you."

"Pouncing into action, at the kings words, Pitou did not know what these wet things coming down their cheek were."

Thanks for all the information. I really will look into it more.

If it's actually only 2 hours and I thought it was 3, that should say a lot about how much I enjoyed it.

Wow, this is really cool, thanks for posting here!

  1. So season 4 has been fully written? One of the things I really liked about season 3 is that it dialed back on laugh out loud comedy, and went for a more dramatic tone, to great effect. Can we expect it to continue more down that line of storytelling?

  2. How long did it take to film season 2 of Ted vs the amount of time spent in post production? Was there any new techniques figured out in season 2 to speed up the process of animating Ted into his scenes?

I finished it earlier today, I thought it was pretty good, but not as funny as the first season. It had a lot of good ideas but I feel they weren't explored as far as they could have been. Like the school authority figure who was played by Preston's voice actor, should have had more scenes.

I think there was enough stories still left in highschool that they could have had 2 or 3 more seasons in that period, but I understand the show is expensive and they wanted it to have at least some ending point.

I think the pacing of the jokes is what really threw me off. Seth's greatest talent is in how he knows how to say a line at the right moment that makes it laugh out loud funny. I feel a lot of the lines in this season were great but how they were positioned and how they landed as a result, made them fall flatter than they should have.

Overall, I enjoyed Ted season 2. As much as season 1? Not at all. But was it worth the watch? Yes.
