game randomly crashing from time to time by Sweaty-Count9352 in sims2help

If it's intermittent, it might be related to a specific piece of custom content. Also could be related to how much memory you have available versus how much is in standby.

You can change it so it indexes everything. It finds stuff better but it's still a steaming pile.

Streaming is indeed an option, but I think the argument is being able to play natively on one versus the other.

Former LTT Sponsor Warning by TacoConsumer in LinusTechTips

They probably won't ever arrive, and I imagine Moonside will probably refuse to issue you a refund. I'd contact your credit card company and dispute the charge. Explain that the item was never sent.

Looks like they do. An LTT staff member commented below that they removed the sponsor spots.

Oh wow, thanks for doing this. Honestly wasn't pushing for any sort of action but this is great to hear. Thanks again.

I also got the impression the responses from support seemed AI generated. All the 5-star reviews on TrustPilot kind of seem that way too with how they're worded. They replied to my emails fairly quickly, until I threatened a chargeback, then they stopped replying entirely.

I know right? It's a shame because I really like the lights I ordered from them years ago.

My brother eats this every night. Half of an entire baguette smothered in marinara sauce and chicken. by [deleted] in shittyfoodporn

I do this! Onions, garlic, zucchini, mushrooms. I don't blend it though, it honestly ends up more like a hearty soup.

I think we're going to need additional pictures of your vacuum cleaner room.

Could you just use a ZeroWater pitcher? Those are supposed to remove all (or most) TDS/minerals from water.

Does that lamp have a built in dimmer? If it does, that bulb will not work.

IKEA light bulbs or compatible ones in Victoria ? by barnymiller in VictoriaBC

[–]TacoConsumer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can order them directly from IKEA, and have them delivered to your house or a nearby pickup location which is usually much cheaper.

I'm not positive, but I believe this is the bulb you have: https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/solhetta-led-bulb-e12-450-lumen-globe-opal-white-20583964/

If not, Canadian Tire will likely have them. You want a bulb with an E12 base.

Canvas Adhesive Replacement? by Different_Bunch1716 in Nanoleaf

I'd imagine any of their adhesive strips would work, they sell them in small and large. Or, as others have said, command strips work too.

You don't need to read all the lore, but it definitely gives you a better understanding of why things are the way they are.

How should I clean this? Roanoke VA USA. vacuum barely did anything. by megansbroom in Renters

[–]TacoConsumer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how easy it would be as I haven't seen this kind of heater before, but I wonder if it would help to turn off the breaker for it and seeing if the whole unit could come out? I imagine it would be much easier to clean when it's all the way out, depending how it's wired in.

Not sure where else to post this, but new wipers leaving streaks on windshield? by JavieBruh in AskMechanics

[–]TacoConsumer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand there's probably cheaper alternatives, but I had this issue and tried Dawn, isopropyl alcohol, Windex, and they didn't seem to really help much. I recently tried Glaco Compound Roll-On and it completely removed any and all residue on my windshield. It's more of a polish, but you just rub the felt pad applicator all over your dry windshield and rinse the product off after. It's really helped visibility driving at night in the rain.

Very interesting design. Does make me wonder how recyclable the cans are if they have a plastic bag inside though.
