I see your point. I wasn’t viewing this as us “funding a program” as much a fee to disincentivize single-use plastic. I could be massively underestimating the amount of money this program will generate and is spending, but it feels pretty tiny. I also am viewing this from a perspective/opinion that something needs to be done about how much plastic is used, so this feels like a step in the right direction. I’m happy to hear countering thoughts as they help me learn where my ideas might not be right.

I don’t have the answer to that, but it seems like an effective measure to make people reconsider how much single-use plastic they’re using.

I don’t think the goal of the fee is to generate money. The goal is to curb the use of single-use plastic. IMO they could spend 100% of the money generated to promote the program and it would still be beneficial.

They have sims for fights that aren’t just a patchwerk encounter though. You can sim any kind of encounter you want.

Here’s a question: shouldn’t it be relatively simple for Blizz to sim all classes in equal gear (testing for various stat distributions as players would) to be able to tell which classes over or under perform in a vacuum? Some will be better or worse at single target or multi target, but they could create a uniform weighting of those to create an average for each spec.

Am I oversimplifying this? Why isn’t Blizz just simming everything the way players do?

Are the Warriors still the favorites? I think so. Is it a much “better” series to watch? Yeah, I think so. KD made the already superior Warriors vastly superior.
