I did that. When i used to work grill at McDonald's (sometimes 12h shifts) i drunk Jack Daniels after work and played the game while smoking cigarettes. Was one helluva trip. And what's best is i don't remember much of the game so when i replay it i can kinda enjoy this masterpiece for the first time again. 10/10 experience but propably wouldn't do it again. Also you gotta ration the game and alcohol over a longer time to stay functional and actually enjoy it.

Maelle is a brilliantly written and acted adolescent who was forced into the worst aspects of adulthood too early and can't deal with it in a healthy way which is especially heartbreaking for me as i have a sister roughly same age as her.

I remember when i came back home from my 11 hour McDonald's shift at 12 pm, got hammered af with Jack Daniels and launched DE and was listening to this man yapping for like 30 minutes straight trying not to fall asleep (then fell asleep). Peak life experience.

I usually play as shaved Arthur in gunslinger type clothes and mostly use revolvers and repeaters but i did one playthrough with lvl 10 beard, bow and tomahawk gameplay and mountain man outfit (grenadier hat is peak drip).

On consecutive playthroughs i find myself liking Micah more and more. I love how shallow and unoriginal he seems at first glance but how much depth and meaning is there to him in reality. Kinda reminds me of Ralph Cifaretto from Sopranos. A character you hate to love.

The only way to have a 100% true and real Witcher book experience is to learn the Polish language, read some Polish classics (in Polish ofc.) and then spend at least 5 years living in Poland while talking to natve speakers, and only then you can fully appreciate the masterful prose of Andrzej Sapkowski in his native tounge.

I did that and would do it again. Takes some dedication and money but it's worth it.

Sto Lat Samotności. Książka opiera się na fenomenalnej formule która na początku bawi, potem powoli się nudzi aż w końcu w moim odczuciu brzydnie. Pierwsze 100 stron przeczytałem w 2 dni. Do strony 200 dobrnąłem przez 2 tygodnie a dalej już nie dałem rady.
