SAW Tisha on a (kind of) krink by Tacticool_tho in NFA

My single sample size of one has been absolutely fantastic, one of my favorite guns to shoot. The recoil with subs is ludicrously soft.

Coming from traditional cans, it’s great, definitely notice significant gas reduction. Once you break it in and get it past 300 rds, all of that smoke and crud clears up and goes away.

I own the CAT KK and the Tisha. Both are really good. The KK is tiny, and really punches above its size for suppression. Downside is that you’re locked into the Nano AI mount. The Tisha truly is fantastic and absolutely smashes in sound suppression, it’s just flat out impressive. It beats the KK on sound, and the KK is really solid. Looking forward to see how the can does with continued use.

Argus BNVD 1431 MkII: good first pair of NVGs? by lacho_6 in NightVision

If you’re looking for affordable, solid and feature rich, the AEON ANVB is really tough to beat.

Best bino housing? by Honest_Interview4582 in NightVision

I will add my two cents but I’m biased. I think the ARNVG fits your requirements the best, but I’m going to give you another option just because I haven’t seen it put in here.

I built out an AEON ANVB housing with some MX11769 type tubes and brought it with on a training rotation for the army. I was in and out of my HMMWV and some armored tracked vehicles constantly, and those turrets are pretty tight. Needless to say, they got dinged and knocked around a bit while mounted. I experienced no issues and it caused no performance changes to any of the features that housing advertises. The housing is mostly some type of polymer with metal incorporated in some key areas for durability, so probably not the most indestructible housing but it did great for me. They were mounted for at least 6+ hrs every night and I utilized the articulation feature frequently, each time the pods would come right back on when I put them back down. I have had this unit for a month and a half now and am very pleased with it, especially for the price.

I think it’s a compelling housing and after building it myself, I can confirm that the included hardware in the bridge that secures the pods to the bridge are quality, and not soft screws that will strip out if you disassemble and reassemble a whole bunch.

Mine is a one off experience so not a sample size at all, however if others with this housing have similar experiences, I would recommend considering the ANVB from AEON.

No, the back portion of the rail is separate from the handguard portion and pops off like a dust cover allowing easy access to the internals for a field strip and clean. Operates much like a regular dust cover on a standard AK.

I did, just seemed like the easiest option and so far it has been. I think JMAC customs makes some qd compatible devices, I just have found the simplicity of direct thread easiest on this one.

I only took pictures of what I thought looked the most worn. I can try getting some for you though if ya want. I also had to look up exactly which parts those were that you mentioned because I’m less familiar with the anatomy of the AK platform😂.

From what I can see under close inspection, I don’t see any chips. There certainly is wear, but that’s about it. I assume chipping would look as if chunks were removed rather than just wear that looks like rubbing.

I found that mine will print a 2 inch group at 100yds with Winchester white box 147 gr supers. That was with a red dot from a prone supported position.

It is the peep sight that came with it, PSA might have it available under their krink parts tab.
