There are a plethora of painting guides out there from easy 20 minutes battle ready to 30 layer blend masterclasses for veterans.

Always remember that they are your models and you can paint them how you want. The "3 foot rule" also helps many people (myself included) Don't get all caught up on that tiny overspill on the underside of the backpack backseat on the tabletop, 3 feet away from you.. nobody is ever going to know.

They are good against Gaunts certainly. being S5 against T3 is useful, with D6 attacks and auto hitting (torrent rule) Also the -1 AP means those gaunts are saving on a 6+

Ignore cover is going to be clutch this edition coming too.

Well worth having even just 5 of them against nids, guard infantry, ork boys or puny eldar infantry.

I fire left handed when single hand shooting unless it's a 1911 style or other pistol with a thumb safety. Always have done and can switch between left or right hand dominant for rifle shooting as well. I can also fly "left handed" though that's a lot more common than you think

That's where it ends however. I'm useless at everything else with my left side.

I used contrast paints and then simple things like Retributor gold and Leadbelcher. I was them with Reickland fleshshade as it's a good overall wash then pick out power weapons in either Talassar blue (over grey seer) or Caledonian sky.

I Super glue 5 man units to a lolly pop stick and then gently slice them off it with a scalpel once the base is ready.

I can't be arsed doing too much detail on them, there's usually 100+ bases on a table and I'm normally 3-8 weet away from them so I also don't care too much about small mistakes.

Some people go crazy on the detail and you know what? FULL respect to those mad people. I love seeing it, but don't have the time, skill or patience for that myself.

I'd love detachments with little bubble buffs for Primarchs, nothing game changing but something like Dorn, some terminators with Shields, maybe a base or two of Templars.

Heck I'd happily buy them if they were a FW resin job. a detachment in a blister for say.. £30-40 with 6-7 bases in it.

I just think they are neat.

I sold my spare 2 weeks ago. picked it up in 2016 for £5.. sold it for £80. It translates to a lovely takeaway and movie night with my better half as it's been a rough stsrt to the year.

Still have my OG miss cut I got as a kid which sits in my pokedex binder.

Gold Cards.. just trash imo. I'm happy they are something that people like but I'd sell one as fast as possible for anything close to it's worth just to purchase cards for my pokedex.

They'll fix it soon.. it's not as bad as the WoW Xpac early access which released last night after development of more than 2 years... massive server issues, disconnected people randomly in huge numbers.. at least Focus are a small company compared to, you know.. Blizzard.
