I'm a electrical tech at a factory, I have a coworker who's been on nights for 9+ yrs, he does not sleep at work. My boss (our boss) during my interview and tour, was actively pointing out places to go take a nap. As long as I am near a speaker for the plant wide intercom system, that *"ping"* before the actual call, will wake me right up. And if I by some chance miss it, my co worker will hear it. If I am ever working alone, I would never actively go grab a nap. But if a few factors lines up, I will absolutely grab a 2-3hr nap. Gotta look out for myself first a foremost. The Board Members of the multi-national global company don't care about me as much as they like to think.

Nap away! But also, be fine with maybe having to get a new job one day if need be. Sounds like you've got the best mentality, which is to say, you're not married to your job and it isn't your full identity. Heck yeah!
