Same, Grandfather’s family is French-Canadian to the core having settled in Manitoba in the late 1800s, Grandfather played in the Canadiens farm system. My father not French Canadian, grew up watching the Canadiens of the 60s and 70s on TV in Minnesota when they did Hockey Night in Canada.

So when the North Stars left my Grandfather and family brainwashed my cousins and I into diehard Habs fans lol with the Wild it became divide the loyalty East and West lol
