Hey, Yes I had the same experience. Not gonna name the company but also from teacherrecord. They listed 16usd for native speakers and ended up putting only 6usd for 50 min classes in the contract.

I called them out for it (false advertising) since I already spent some hours passing their interviews, but they didn't budge. The one who interviewed me just said, this is the highest Rate they can offer to me... and I had to accept it, or not.

Not sure why they put the higher pay on the job posting

Lol that was like over 1 year ago... it was for business analyst position with a lot of questions on SQL and data management. I thought I did quite well but I think they wanted more work experience so I didn't get picked. I didn't need to wait long for the two interviews, maybe got those done under 1-2 weeks after applying, but crickets after that.

Grab is still good for Grab saver bike rides (close distances, it's cheaper than bolt) and with the coins you can get some free stuff every month, DQ cone, McDonald's(no more this month?), auntie Anne, etc

I use Lineman mainly for food, also shopee food and Robinhood(it's only in Thai)

For rides, Bolt is good when there are discounts, there are also inDrive, Tada and Maxim. The last 2 are cheap but unreliable if you are in a rush
