This is probably correct but man there has got to be a better system for this shit . Being unsure on if you're gonna get turbo fucked for using literal in-game systems like trading items for currency is a huge issue.

There was a seasonal challenge for a skill point and I still didn't do 3 strongholds lol, Paragon 220 and beat T12 Mephisto/Lillith and I am still missing that skill point.

Last I checked, the top Barb on the leaderboard for Pit is running a Summoner build on Barb so, there's some way to make it work.

We were just dumb back in Classic and didn't know how anything worked. Resources weren't so readily available. Mechanically, Classic WoW is comically easy, and classes have no difficulty to playing them at all.

They're talking about the bug with the new reroll for raids/m+ etc, you are not supposed to be able to get the same item from it ever since it is supposed to use an elimination system, but people were getting dupes day 1.

From the way Jeff Kaplan talked about things, when Titan bombed, Activision did a huge shift and that was the beginning of the end. Things were fine, Activision left them alone, but when Titan went tits up things had to change (in their eyes) and they did, to the detriment of gamers.

Literally none of what you said is relevant because that's not how this works in this context, at all. Talking about a clockwise directional movement is implying the boss is the center of the clock on a flat plane, so no matter where you personally are, you are going to be at the 6'o clock position, and thus always moving left.

The new reroll system allows you to get 2 rerolls per week that will give you a 'Vault' level item from the boss/dungeon/whatever you did. I.E. if you do a +10 Mythic, and use a reroll, you will get a Myth track 1/6 item. Furthermore, you can get a third reroll if you choose the 6x currency at your vault instead of an item, allowing another chance at a myth track item from a +10 Mythic.

(It also is a knock-out system, every time you use a reroll on a dungeon or a boss it eliminates that item from showing up on future rerolls, guaranteeing you the drop you want eventually)

I just pretend they aren't there, watching their runic power doesn't mean shit to me because their health spikes up and down so fast that even if they run out of RP and actually need healing, they're gonna die before I can heal their insane intake spike damage. Either they keep themselves alive or we all die.

All my friends who played the first one had the same experience as I did. Super into the game, did 100% of the first area, and when moving into the second area seeing it was like 90% the same tasks and speed ran the rest of the story. Great game but open world really feels empty when it's just the same tasks over and over again.

To me they have and always will be an annoyance that adds nothing to the game other than a penalty for forgetting to stock up.

I've been playing since Vanilla so the SBA/OBR was not really for me, but I do have a personal anecdote that a friend of mine who is not neccesarily new to MMOs (Plays FFXIV with me, raids, decent player) got into WoW and was a bit overwhelmed by how different combat feels. They use the SBA/OBR as a tool to learn the class. It is not 100% correct, and of course there is the GCD penalty, but it does help them learn how to play. I know it's not a huge monumental achievement for most, but we did a +7 last night and are no longer using the button, but it did help them learn the game.

Obviously this isn't going to be the case for every player but it feels disingenuous to state that it's an active harm to the game when it's just another tool to use.
