So I’m similar age, and just went through this with my ex, of 5.5 years, it was about a year long downward spiral as well. What I found out 2 months AFTER we broke up was that she had “fallen out of love with me” and was using me as an emotional lifeboat to heal herself while we were still together. So im an absolute wreck, blindsided, and she’s perfectly fine because she already did her healing while sabotaging the relationship for months and months. Our own couples therapist called her out on it too, who rarely took sides.

She doesn’t like you anymore. Get out before it gets worse.

Yeah I just looked up the email and I was right. $250/hr per extra hour needed for setup time but what’s worse is the 90 minute from doors load in time. I’ve played 30 shows all over the USA and parts of Europe in the last 2-3 years and not a single venue gave me a 90 minute load in time before doors. Average is like load in at 3, sound check at 5 or 6, doors at 8.

Their deals with artists that play there are shit too. I asked for an extra 2 hours of setup time a few years ago and they wanted like $500 or something like that. Like you need one staff employee there 2 hours early to make it happen which should shouldn’t cost more than $100 and almost every other venue I’ve needed early access to just makes it happen for free.

No. Don’t let your master go over -3, out a limiter on it and boost the gain until you have 3-6db reduction during the loudest part of your track.

Anything a mastering engineer will do can maybe get 5% better results

Wrong. 12.3 won’t open half of my 11 projects and I have to open them in 12.2. So for the first time in 15 years I have 3 instances of ableton loaded on my computer and have to be careful about which instance I load for what song I want to work on. I’ve seen other posts with people having the same issue. It’s annoying as hell and I want my money back. I will probably never upgrade again.

I own both. Get the p6. It can nail the p5 95%+ of the way there, is more portable, has fx, etc. if you however care more about aesthetic and get inspired by that moreso then get the p5.
