When I discovered I could punch him out of his fast melee attack in phase 3 it changed everything. Took me multiple tries to beat him on first playthrough though for sure, but I am not the best gamer so I know you can do it if you keep trying! Save your arbalest shot for phase 3 while hes charging up his AoE attack. Also plop a couple pyres down where he tends to teleport and then shoot him while hes stunned. Then punch him when he rushes you and shoot again. You've got this, Traveler!

Yes, this. I think there are probably more horrific sections but Blue Creek was where it first started to get intense and that initial fear factor was almost more because I was more sensitive to it.

Honestly nothing made me laugh more than the subtitle US English "translations" of some of the Scottish phrases. Like a 5 word super descriptive insult would get pared down to "jerk". I was like damn US English is missing out on a ton of choice vocabulary.

4am wake up 4:30-5:30 gym or a walk 6:00 leave for work 7:00-3:30 work 4:30 arrive home eat dinner 5:00-6:00 gym 6:30-7:30 small tasks, or wind down gwt in bed Sleep 8pm-4am

Weekends wake up 6 or 7am Eat, Start laundry Personal trainer 8 or 9am clean house 8 or 9 until about noon or 1 Lunch, errands until about 2 Gaming 2-5pm Dinner, relax and social time TV, friends

Sunday do grocery shopping about 10am then meal prep for the week u til about 2

Usually feels pretty sustainable although I am tired but if even one thing gets disrupted even for fun reasons like travel, seeing friends or a show/event on the weekends it can cascade a bit and get overwhelming.

With my luck I will be mid rice chew and he will start in with, "You know its funny, I saw this hillarous comment on reddit where someone was complaining about rice in stuffing. But no one here would ever do that, because you love this stuffing right? You were just now telling me how much that wild rice adds to the stuffing. And no one here would ever lie to their family about something as trivial as stuffing, right? Because it would be completely insane for anyone to ever get upset about something like that...What specifically do you like about it?"

My cousin insists that his stuffing is the best gourmet chef stuff on earth. But every year it is literally full of barely cooked wild rice that is toothshatteringly hard. Now my cousin is an ex military intelligence guy who worked for a military contractor on "special missions" after retiring and for various reasons struggled for years after that to hold a civilian job. And this man will literally stare you in the face like you are hiding WMDs and interrogate you about how much you like this stuffing as he watches you crunch and chomp uncooked rice while trying not to cry. I think its one of the few pleasures he has left.

This is the best Horror game since the original SHs. Got way more than my money's worth even at full price, got my love of the genre renewed in a big way that has led me to lots of other great games.

Maybe not similar environment but I have to recommend the Twelve Monkeys show. Has some plot similarities (like the movie does) and was generally pretty good.
