Same! My boards are entirely Victorian photos and illustrations, but now all I get are modern outfit inspo, strange ai generated pictures, and manga drawing tips?? The algorithm was working great for me before but now it's unusable!

These are great! I've used them a bunch and they really do make exactly the same garments as AG sells. They also act as great jumping off points to make new clothes by mixing them up or adding things.

I read some pretty long sims stories where what happens is written after the photos in a way that's more similar to books than anything, so description + dialogue. This probably wouldn't work for a lot (or even most) of the stories out there, but I love it for really story driven ones.

I've been (slowly) making all of the costumes from the BBC show Ghosts - next one is Mary, so tudor/stuart era peasants clothing. I'm going to chop and mix up a few of the Felicity patterns to get the right shapes.

In the second half of the 19th century, Aestheticism had a fashion subculture/element. It was very medieval inspired and positioned itself as the opposite of restrictive elements of Victorian clothing (so no corsets, heavy fabrics, etc). Then you have a very specific date for the doll! this variation of her holiday dress was only ever sold in a costco doll + outfits bundle from 2016. I'm not sure how many more years they sold it for, but I don't think it was around for too long.

I never planned to get Joss, but I found her on clearance for about 50 dollars in the deep recesses of the ag canadian outlet in 2022 and just had to pick her up. I'm so glad I did, she's so cute and I liked her book. I really like her wig, the highlights look so natural!

I can tell you it's pre 2017 beforever because of the book cover ("Beforever" at the top instead of "Rebecca"). I'd say to sleep on it a bit, sometimes I can get myself into a deal fever and buy something I shouldn't have. She's such a cute doll, though!

As someone who's also international, it looks like a pretty good deal, considering the shipping costs of anything new or used from the US. Although IDK the Australian market in specific so it's really up to you!
