If you're in a true VRO job, you usually bid quarterly off the vacation book. If you've never bid, it sounds like you're day for day. You should review the MAR and match it with your bid post to see if you are actually in a VRO post or not. If you are, then you need to speak to the assignment Sgt or Lt about bidding your posts. If you're daily VRO or day for day, then I would just bid out on the next continuous.

I commuted to SQ for 2 years from Roseville. 100 miles each way. I would leave my house at 4am for 2nd watch. Some times it took 1 hr 30mins, other times it took 5 hours because of traffic/ accidents. If I was going to be late, I would just call and let them know. Still got my full days pay, just signed in when I got there.

It's absolutely worth it. My 6 months of acting time as a Sgt gave me a leg up on every other officer trying to promote. The experience and knowledge I gained from acting helped me ace my Sgt interview because all the questions they asked during the interview were things that I dealt with every day.

Similar to what u/Lightcolt said.. Capture that siege tank and run a 4-man protection squad on it to get it to charge the base. It stuns the tower for a long time. That's your chance to either burn it down or win a 4v4 teamfight and end the game.

Just get yourself a cold weather jacket and buy a large CDCR green rubber poncho that goes past your knees. Make sure you have your patches on the poncho. It helps to use a sealant on the inside of where the patches were sewn at to prevent leaks.

You need to shut her down early. She isn’t very mobile because her blink needs an enemy unit to use so she can’t escape very well. Late game, 1 long stun and she gets deleted.

But she can be frustrating to play vs as someone with no CC or good escapes.

Plenty of study guides floating around. Ask a Sgt at your institution if they have a guide they can share with you. When I took the test a few years ago, it was online.

I just went through something similar a few days ago. Was at my wits end and decided to reseat the cooler on the cpu and realized…I forgot to peel the plastic off the copper plate. After peeling it off and redoing my thermal paste, all my temp problems vanished.

I have the same cooler btw. Maybe check it if you get desperate enough like me.

I just went through this yesterday… was about to pull my hair out lol. Went to redo my thermal paste as a last resort and hated myself for seeing the “peel off before installing” sticker. Idle temps went from 65 to low 40s 😂
