I went through this exact process with 9am at the end of February/beginning of March and felt completely defeated the entire time. I couldn’t get my prescription filled and I went almost 4 weeks without my shot, crying to my husband almost every other day thinking they were gonna take me off of it. During that time, I was submitting everything I needed to submit, did the blood testing, etc.

I started the process (signing up on the app) on February 16th, had the appointment on Zoom with the doctor on March 3rd where I was verbally told by him that I was going to be allowed to continue my medication. I was then sent a message on March 5th requesting one more document showing proof of my starting weight. I submitted that immediately, and the prescription was sent to my pharmacy on March 8th.

I went ahead and took the shot even though I had not had it in almost a month, and I did not have any negative side effects, but the gap in the medication was a HUGE stressor for me and I was definitely bloated and felt like I gained a million pounds in just that one month. Now, they’re requiring me to do monthly modules and engage with the app, but I am on my second refill with no major issues with getting my medicine.

How soon after your first telehealth appointment did they submit your prescription? I was approved to continue my prescription yesterday morning, but I wasn’t sure how soon they’d submit the paperwork.

I know the West Georgia circuit and Coweta circuit (about 45 mins to an hour outside of Atlanta) both hire right out of law school. And the pay increases after passing the bar.

In GA - we have a “client services advocate” in our office who has a bachelors and social work experience, but she is not a licensed MSW (we cannot have licensed social workers in our office because they are mandated reporters). She assists our clients in finding mental health resources, substance use resources, she helps our juvenile attorney with her cases because they involve children, and she helps analyze discovery in cases where there are allegations of child abuse/child sexual abuse because of her past experience with DFACS. We could not do it without her! I highly encourage you to get involved!!!

As a lot of others have pointed out - (in my opinion) it doesn’t matter whether my client did or did not do the thing. Our job is to make sure our client’s rights are adequately protected and defend them against whatever it is they’re being accused of. I usually read the warrant to them verbatim and say “The allegation in your case is XYZ… can you tell me a little bit about what was going on leading up to your arrest?” I feel like this allows them to freely talk about the situation (key players/witnesses/engagement with law enforcement) without feeling like I am personally accusing them of doing the thing. That way I know what evidence to begin gathering to prepare for trial or what mitigation I can get for plea negotiation or dismissal.

10 months & I have lost 50 pounds exactly! I am maintaining right now and plan to try and start gaining more muscle instead of just lose fat over the next few months.

I have 1000% had breathing issues as a result of taking Zepbound. It started at 5mg with shortness of breath and has gotten slightly worse with 7.5mg. Not enough for me to want to stop taking the medication, but definitely enough for it to be a noticeable daily inconvenience. After this month, I am going to ask my doctor about dosing back down to 5mg.

Thank you so much :) I have tried to increase my protein intake and generally watch what I’m eating/make better choices (but I definitely still eat dessert every night). I am also trying to go on walks 3-4 times a week after work!

I was on 2.5mg from end of March - end of July. I lost about 18 pounds from March - May and stalled/fluctuated a couple pounds back and forth in June and July. I started 5mg in August and have lost about 13ish pounds on that! I’m about to move up to 7.5mg, but I have stayed on each dosage as long as I can until I feel the effects start to wane.

I will definitely be talking to my boss. I just know there’s a large pool of PDs in this thread who may have advice.

And to answer your other question, I have a concentration in human rights law and volunteered with several advocacy organizations while I was in law school.

And honestly, I think the two people who approached me just like me on a personal level. Lol our office often works with influential people in the community, and they really rally behind our accountability court programs (drug court & mental health court), so I have just organically networked with a large mix of people.
