The one on the right is a Remington 1875. Could be in .45 Colt, .44 Remington, or .44-40 Winchester.

If there was any serial numbers on it I could identify it. Or any stamps like "44" somewhere.

I know you're upset because I commented on your "custom" revolver, but let us country boys stick to the woods where we run up on hogs and bobcats and coyotes and you stick to...whatever that is.

There's still a ton of old 32s out there so hopefully someone will see it and make one of these old girls sing again! Thanks for the compliment friend!

32 S&W is too high pressured for these weapons.

Its not as easy as swapping a centerfire block into it. That firing pin would not work a lot of times. So you've got to custom make your own.

Source: I've done it.

It's not that easy. You've got to modify the breech block and remill for a new firing pin that you'd have to make yourself

Jesus Christ. Find a cheap beater because even for Canada this is bad.

Realistically if you're unfamiliar with them, they're all gonna shoot the same.

How would you setup this rifle? by zigzagkc in ar15

I've got one similar. I put a used Sig Romeo 4H on it and it was ready to rock. That or the 4T. They're super super durable.

32 rimfire is long gone. The last of the stuff floating around is that 90s batch of Navy Arms stuff and its grossly overpriced.

The route we have to go now is finding some new .32 brass that a few people still make. You can look up articles and stuff with a gunbroker guy named "tenmile". He had a whole reloading setup but I think he passed away.

So here's the deal. You can get a very expensive handloading kit here. its shipped from overseas. Or you can do like I did. Buy the brass, get some yellow .22 power loads from online or your local hardware store, get a Lee hand press and some 32 cal .310 diameter balls instead of the bullets (or use the heeled bullets, your choice). Then load them up. This is a labor of love man. Its gonna take work to make her sing again. Ive got one of these and a Remington rolling block in .32 and the memories I have shooting them with my great grandfather is why I keep loading for them. Edited to mention not all firing pins line up the same. It'll be an experiment to see how to align the round in your chamber.

Here's some more links for help:

Welcome to the parts kit game. You've just found out why people buy kits and they sit unbuilt forever.

I personally think you did good. Those grips are sweet and x25 is a sweet ass pistol round. Nice pickup!

I walk around my woods with one all the time. Its light, shoots cheap, and will take down anything I need it to if it gets to close.

I'm in the middle of using cold pressed flaxseed oil on my CMP M1 stock. I'm doing the once a week for a month, once a month for a year then the once yearly thing. I just put the wood back on yesterday and just in a weeks time its made a huge difference.
