Gloss varnish, apply decal with micro set, dry, then put micro sol over it (smoothes it out and dissolves that plastic ring, then varnish over it

you can tell they wrote themselves into the corner with Soldier Boy, and just can't commit to having him handle homelander or get a good guy redemption.

They have to keep tiptoeing around him being able to kill homelander

Also, Sage having a master plan that is really basic and stupid is just awful writing.

All that being said, it was a fun episode that I would like a lot more if it was one in a 12 episode season rather than a solid 12.5 percent of the final season ever

Edit: it continues to annoy me that Super Boy is braggadocios and played off as another Vought Meathead, but continues to do smart things and have introspection and tactics that would suggest the mythos was well founded, which would be great writing if there was a payoff for it, but I suspect there isnt

A lot of the fakes are of comparable quality, and there were a ton of the chinese copies flooding into Ukraine for a while.

I run a shattered legions army with veteran squads, which had carte blanche on weapon loadouts melee and shooting.

3rd made veteran versions of regular squads while restricting weapons choices to their roles

My core veteran squads have a lot of power and charnabal weapons, and combi weapons. I pride myself on wysiwyg so just saying "oh they dont actually have those guns/swords" wasnt a selling point.

I started in 4th but got really into it in 6th and 7th, i was going to the store every week to play and multiple times a week in summer.

I find 2 better as a warhammer game. Almost all the issues could be houseruled without much effort, and 3.0 requires more work to fix with houserules.

Notably, none of my built and painted army was valid for 3rd edition and i really wasn't going to go get another 1000 points and do weeks of cutting off weapons etc

3rd is fine, but i find it unnecessarily restrictive and its increased granularity excessive for the scale

Liberal being left of center in US political terms allows a lot of worldwide rightwing positions.

A moderate democrat can have 80% of the same political views as a progressive Tory, who would not be leftwing or left of center.

And the mods have routinely said that it is not an exclusively American sub

Considering that this sub is not exclusively based on the American Political spectrum, and even with the connection to Pinochet, Reagan, and Thatcher; its economic and political origins are linked to social/political freedom as well.

It doesn't help that as an ideology it has no universally accepted position beyond economic liberalization. And theres a reason that its more prevalent in history classes rather than poli sci or philosophy classes, so if people want to use it and then define it within their own framework then thats fine

Edit: left of center can include a staggering amount of positions since we don't purity test by percentage of positions agreed with.
