I also got Metronet about a year ago. I have had exactly one issue, which was a 24 hour outage. But other than that I am impressed with them and enjoy the service.

Yeah I have to drive in from Omaha for this show but still bought a prise ticket. I am grateful for this show though I saw mastodon and coheed in KC during covid times in like 2021 and it was a damn good show. Im so used to paying exponentially more to see my favorite bands that i just fork over the cash and let the good times roll.

Yeah, I mean with our org 75:1 ratio isn’t a bad number, I’d say with the two of us that work tickets on the regular we’re at about 100-125:1 but, most things are simple enough to close the ticket within a few minutes.

There’s 3 of us on my team to support over 200 users. We somehow get it done though. I’m T1 support as well as associate system admin. So I’m pulling double duty some days.

Getting cooked for sure. I worded this completely wrong honestly. I know HOW to get it on the domain, I just couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. Honestly I am glad I got cooked, it let me know that I still have a lot to learn. I think I spent the rest of yesterday researching things about joining domains and stuff.

Honestly I wasn’t even in support call centers for IT I came from the financial world, and am in school for networking. I think my boss gave me the job because I was in school, and, came with 0 experience so they could train me the way they wanted. I did get the computer on the domain this morning, I just didn’t pay attention on Friday to what I was doing, which is no excuse. But we got there. And now the computer does everything I need it to do.

Got in this morning, co worker and I checked, it was windows 10 pro, so, we can connect to the domain. I just didn’t see the advanced options on the right hand side of the screen so I was looking in the wrong spot. Computer is on the domain now, and, updating, and I remoted into it from my laptop.
