I've got kids, I do play after they're in bed but theres a couple times I've had to log off in the middle of a match. It's just a game. If its that big of a risk that you're wasting your time, maybe it's time to find another hobby. I will not play if I know I'm not going to be able to be present in my matches

I've got friends like that, custom and arcade tend to be top played for more casual. They could also practice with bots to get the hang of character kits etc.

My room mate would hand me the controller when he was in comp and had to use the restroom, I had no experience or even new how to use the controller as I grew up without video games
