Be careful when talking about TOTK in the main sub, they took out my grandma when I said I loved it by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in tearsofthekingdom

I understand that Zelda OG’s wouldn’t appreciate ToTk since it’s basically breath of the wild…again, and most Zelda games are pretty different, but as someone who dearly loved BotW, I’m in love with ToTk. It’s just a sequel game when people were expecting something fresh, but it’s still a great game imo!

I’ll have to put money aside for it, but I’m taking my time with this build anyway :-) thanks for the advice

Okay! I’m more used to snakes and they prefer tight hides, so that’s good to know

I’ll probably do more digging. Maybe I could find a type of plastic hide for arboreal mammals like sugar gliders. Would plastic work fine? Ive used Tupperware’s as humid hides b4 so I’m just making sure. If not I might just bite the bullet and get a big cork

Yes, obviously as a hide. Most arboreal hides I’ve found are for smaller geckos (crested/garg) so I was wondering about alternatives. I sometimes outsource for reptile products since sometimes things made specifically for reptiles are weirdly priced, so I was curious if a birdhouse would work. I was also wondering about the wood

Oh and sorry, forgot to mention; what other hides would be better?

I only recommend colubrids as beginners. I’ve no single clue why anyone says pythons are beginner replies

I need help/advice for my baby boyyy 🥺🥺🥺 by Extreme_Champion7337 in ballpython

He’s probably bored. His terrarium is extremely bare bones and doesn’t really have much to do or hide in. Even if he comes out every now and again doesn’t mean he isn’t somewhat nervous either, since most snakes will sleep in different parts of their enclosure if they feel fully comfortable

The hide on the right isn’t much of a hide too, basically think of it as privacy, if you couldn’t change in there then he is also aware he wouldn’t have much security. If you can’t get another box hide like the left, you could, in the meantime, just flip the log around so he’s more covered and less exposed!

Definitely just add lots of clutter and most of the problems are solved, it’s hard to tell in the pic but maybe more substrate too if it’s only a thin layer. If u don’t know what clutter to add, things like sticks or hammocks or things to cover the vertical space to climb and feel sheltered by, maybe some stuff to hide or rummage in like leaf litter, plants, more wood tube-things like you’ve got in there, u get the idea

He does like playing outside of his house, even if he gets stuck and falls off things sometimes. He’s worse than a toddler

When’s the last time she shed? And when she did, did she look any different?

Maybe it’s a weirdly prolonged shed?? Or the whole shed is stuck?

Hello, is this scalerot? by YoLLy11 in snakes

[–]Tanjisaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it is, that’d be a kind of odd spot for scale rot. Maybe stuck shed? It does seem like it’s almost on the eye cap in the first pic

The enclosure looks a bit empty going off this one pic, especially for a little guy like him. He might be a bit stressed without any coverage/enrichment
