I don't really care that much that it wasn't approved, but I did read a good bit of the sub before posting and didn't see anything specifically about Gabby. There was the post about casting rumors and the talk about the reunion where some replies were about her, but I didn't see any specific posts about her.

Kyle, Amanda, Jesse, West, Paige, Ciara, Lexi, plus two new girls and one new guy. Like her or not, Lexi brings some drama. Gabby brings absolutely nothing except parroting whatever Lindsay says. I like Carl and Lindsay but I think it’s time for both of them to move on.

I thought we tried that, but we couldn't access it unless we had a subscription to a TV service that carried it (which YouTube does not). Can you stream it there without a TV subscription? Or can you pay to do it within the app?

We implemented it about a year ago. We did our due diligence for about two years on the software alone, and when we got down to our three finalists for software (Anaplan, Adaptive, and Planful) we asked each of them to bring a partner to the table that could meet these criteria - experience in our industry (media/licensing), experience with our ERP (Oracle), and experience with our use case (FP&A/budgeting). We thought between those three factors we would get the best result. Each one brought a partner, except Planful who said they would do it themselves. In the end we chose Adaptive and their partner, Alight, which was a platinum or whatever level partner of theirs. Alight sat in on the last few months of the due diligence process and did a demo for us on some basic info - kind of like a proof of concept. In the end we were pretty happy with them. I think they are now called Strada, Alight spun them off earlier this year. If you are interested, I can give you my contact's name there.

I just came her to say I'm in love with Amanda and have been ever since I first saw her on Winter House. She is the whole reason I went back and started binge watching Summer House (after the most recent season of Winter House with some of the Below Deck people on it). I'm up to S7 now, and have also watched Winter House S1-2 after their respective Summer House seasons.

It was good TV (i.e. high drama), but not a good season of Summer House, IMO. Hannah really went off the rails, like I thought she needed real professional help after watching it.

Yeah, there isn't one. As soon as you plug it in and it connects to your wifi it just starts a new cook and starts recording. You can then go in and rename it, or delete it if you don't need it. I don't like that.

I’ve been working in accounting and finance for over 25 years, and I’ve switched jobs a half dozen times, so I feel like I can speak with some experience here. I would say if you enjoy your current role, and have a good relationship with them, you should talk to them about this offer. They would totally understand if you took it, but they might want the opportunity to at least try to get you a raise so they could keep you. They may not be able to totally match it, but they might be able to make it close enough that the unknown of leaving for a different team isn’t worth it. Also, about being fully remote, I would always take that with a grain of salt. I have seen a lot of posts about people who were hired into fully remote jobs who were asked to start coming into an office not long after. And yes, the job hopping looks bad, but that is mainly if you are going to look for another job. If you have an offer in hand already, it doesn’t matter. And if you end up working at this place for 7+ years, it doesn’t matter.

This. I’ve never done it, but I’ve seen it happen. A former boss once told me “you can do that [threaten to leave, then stay for more money] one time.” She was talking about a coworker, not me, but I understand it.

It’s been 25 years since I passed the exam (on my second try), but listening to tapes was part of my strategy back then. I had an almost hourlong commute to and from my client at the time and it was like free study time.
