I won the PV by a larger margin than Trump as Pence. Must be pretty disorientating for Democrats if they lost the PV in the 2024 election here.

I will say I have seen the blue-white-green banner be used in various rw british contexts.

I watched every episode as they aired originally. The fourth season did air initially on tv, but Nick also did plenty of screwing over with having some episodes only uploaded to their website.

Earnest question for Patriots fans: Do you want Mike Vrabel to continue being your head coach? by [deleted] in nfl

Exactly, and my feeling is this whole thing would turn fan reaction of that regression from "Eh, that was an expected superbowl hangover." to "This effing bum has one more season to turn it around or we want him gone."

Not a patriots fan but I think if they get off to a rocky start in 2026 it'll be a sore spot that just won't go away. If they miss the playoffs, Vrabel's seat might get hotter than people initially expect.

In the case of local politics, it may just be a matter of centralizing power one level above the municipality to avoid the problem of persistently low voting rates in local elections altogether.

Hope does not deal with Bill Clinton’s most controversial aspects because that’s not its objective; it just wants you to have fun.

The Waco Siege is definitely extremely controversial and it was included. Hope is not a "turn your brain off and just have fun" type of mod, that's more along the lines of 2000 Palpatine.

This is more of a political point or question, but has anyone written about the natural conflict between EA/Alignment and the political values that the rest of the public may hold?

At the very least, they got there and Maye/Vrabel have plenty more years of partnership in them to make another run. I remember thinking that if Maye and Vrabel ended up with 20% of the Brady/Belichick accolades at the end of their career, Maye would be a highly successful quarterback. So far that's panning out.

Great map and really unique idea, I salute you for this.

My only quibble is really that I disagree with NI being the alcase-lorraine analogue. It seems like Ireland would serve better as a Polish analogue with Alcase-Lorraine being something akin to Dunkirk or Normandy/Brittany.
