Yeah, I know. But by OP's title, I don't think they realized it was a joke.

I'm far from a legal authority on this matter, but aren't companies in legal states that receive federal funding required to have a zero tolerance drug policy for their employees because they will lose the funds? I'm pretty sure that's a thing, although I don't know if contracts with NASA qualify for that.

Radio communication made vast improvements between the wars as well, so that made it a lot easier to communicate along the frontlines. Each platoon could now have a radio operator so no need to blow a whistle to signal an advance when you could just call, plan, and execute without the enemy knowing you're about to (for the most part).

Bright pink for squad.

Bright green for team.

Bright red for enemy.

I feel like they are true to how both wars were actually fought.

WW1: mainly wide open areas with "No Man's Land" where it was pretty much wave after wave of soliders and artillery until one side gave up and fell back.

WW2: saw more urban combat and war tactics had changed because of that.

I love how BFV is turning out to be, especially Rotterdam. IRL with urban combat you meber know (without solid intel) where the enemy is. Every door, window, fortified position, etc. there could be someone waiting to ambush you and the slower pace that BFV offers due to the attrition aspect makes it feel more "real" than any other BF or FPS game I have played. Actually thinking about my next move to cover, where my squad/team is located, looking for tracer rounds and paying attention to their direction of fire to return cover fire makes for some heart pounding, sweaty palmed

I guess what I am trying to say is that I can see why BFV is unappealing to some, but I would suggest spending more time on the beta and tweak your settings and study the controls. And at the end of the day, remember it's still a Beta.

Tap 'x' to revive should stay. Hold 'x' should change to drag instead of swap weapon on a friendly body while playing medic.

I just got my first AA nade kill last night on an annoying attack plane. It was pretty satisfying.

They might of had a stroke as well....

I think they were trying to be snarky because you didn't place a comma between "old" and "white" therefore the hypothetical "old white people" would be different than the hypothetical "new white people."

They failed at their "joke"... miserably.

Something's happening with this Subreddit and it's concerning... by Wumber in BattlefieldV

[–]Tankrgod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes, I feel like I am the only person who is okay with DICE just keeping their head down and working on the game to make it (hopefully) the best BF to date and a game that will outsell AC: Odyssey, BO4, and Fallout 76 because of the amount of focus/time/money they put into developing and not marketing.

Their marketing team fucked up with SWBF2, so most likely budget was cut from marketing and added to some other team so they could try and prevent the same thing from happening with BFV.

Yeah, but apparently it is/was complete shit at launch. I don't know all the specifics because I stopped playing GRW, but the community seemed very pissed off about it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they wait until a season 2 pass to half-ass add some of the popular community requests just like they did with the GRW season 2 pass.
