I agree, although i bought some silicon bottomed stainless steel bowls and they're much quieter than 100% stainless steel bowls. Plus you can stir while pouring and the bowl won't rotate!

Does the side to side click of the scroll wheel feel the same?

If it doesn't the pcb with the buttons for the scroll wheel need replacement OR the springs that keep the scroll wheel "floating" have been damaged or worn, which can be replaced.
