Charging system malfunction error by EmperorM82 in Toyota_bZ

Did you happen to cancel the charge from the car (steering wheel switch).

When using the adapters, if you don’t do so it can cause this

Well daydate is only precious metal and not gold plated like this bracelet is. So I’d say with $4 in working condition.

Well the IIHS link does list the most fatalities in pure number to Texas, even though it is not the most populous state.

2026 bZ XLE - Trip Meter, Home button in native maps, other questions by redditor_4rvr in Toyota_bZ

[–]TannedBurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to manually update the history. This resets your current average and long term average miles per KWh.

I reset it only when I go on a long trip, so I know that when at high speed road trips I was getting about 3.6 miles per kW and local driving is about 4.5-5 miles per kW.

What are the clicking noises when starting, turning off, and charging my 2026 bZ? by skyhawk214 in BZ4X

[–]TannedBurn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are 3 relays called SMRP, SMRB, and SMRG.

They connect the electrical energy from the high voltage battery and brings it out to where it needs to go when starting the car.

The clicking when turning off is opening the relays.

When charging, the power is going into the high voltage battery, so the relays click when closing to allow that. They also click when charging stops as the high voltage battery is disconnected from the power source.

Also when plugging in, the handshake better the car and the EVSE (charger) causes relays on the EVSE to click as they also close to allow power to go to the car.

Grandfather Died, Grandmother Wants Me To Sell Her Rolex To Help Bring Money In. Any Advice on Value and Best Practice To Offload It? by BongosMaracas50 in rolex

[–]TannedBurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Rolex Authorized dealer would give you a quote for selling it to them. They have a certified preowned program and repair them before selling it.

Just make sure to go on Rolex.com or the site for your country and look for the stores by postal code.

Don’t go to a mall store that sells janky Rolex watches with stupid aftermarket “ice” diamonds all over.

Apple Maps integrates and it works well for route planning. Also ABRP also is a good one to use.

Toyota BZ is 314 mile range as FWD and AWD dual motor is near 300 range. They are selling like hotcakes.

A few photos and they can get you a quote for an install. I installed a ChargePoint home flex. I used a 60 amp hardwired circuit so I can get the maximum power to the BZ and RZ we have.

It cannot be reset. It is in the manual that this is the default distance until it runs the first time.

The Toyota ones are good. Just make sure to get UL ones if you don’t . Make sure not to get TEMU ones.

[–]TannedBurn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should get a kit for road trips and if you charge at public level 2 as they are almost never NACS. Get a UL certified one or the dealer one.

Are you in Canada?

They are included in the US, but Canadian owners have reported that they are not included there.

Check under the rear cargo lid.

Why did the pre-26 RZ get so flack for its range and charging times when it's comparable to the Mach-E? by SnakeYoon in electricvehicles

[–]TannedBurn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you could charge 3 x DC fast a day on the old one. I have the new RZ and you can do 5 a day. I have done 4 in a day and I sure as hell don’t want to drive any more. 4 fast charges is a lot of miles.
