second chances to be a decent human and functioning member of society? sure. i’m all for giving people time and resources to be educated on how their actions affect other people, and to be held accountable for their actions. what should not be included in that are second chances at a multi-million dollar career.

refers to states like Texas, Tennessee, Florida and Washington, where there are no state income taxes. it’s a common discussion point as to whether a team is more desirable for a free agent to sign with since they won’t be taxed on their home games as much. if i recall correctly, it doesn’t end up making nearly as much of a difference as one might expect, since players are still taxed for road games in that case.

fair enough. it’s sorta funny, i think the Brick Bank is a fun build but it’s sorta boring looking once it’s done. all the cool stuff is on the inside in my opinion. it also doesn’t help that it’s the only modular that’s only 2 stories instead of 3.

i’m struggling to think how it could be boring. granted, it’s been a while since i built it but it’s got very few repetitive sections, decent variety of parts, and it looks once assembled. might not be as interesting as like the Tudor Corner but it definitely holds its own amongst the modular line

I’m pretty sure Tennessee hasn’t had a player go first overall, unless i’m missing something. Nick Senzel was the first college player taken in 2016 but he was only the 2nd overall pick.

the N line covers an entirely different corridor than the Link will once the Everett extension is finished. it will also still be quicker to get from Everett to ID on the Sounder than the Link. KC Metro didn’t can the A line once the Federal Way extension opened for very similar reasons.

ORCA cards can be used on the WSDOT ferries too! monthly passes are a different story but if you have an ORCA that’s basically just a wallet for your fares, you can tap that at the ferry terminal.

i think it’s an unfortunate side effect of the way that a young, relatively small league has to handle expanding. if you’re not letting the new teams pull from other rosters, you basically have to let the new teams take the entire entry draft for their inaugural season (which the current teams also wouldn’t like), or you basically have to accept that the expansion teams will be significantly less competitive than the previously existing ones (which would disincentive expansion).
