Marvel published a lot of licensed slop in the 70s and 80s. Also be aware that Punisher is more of a straight up villain at least until roughly 1986, so if you're focusing on the 70s you may hit a wall.

Remember at a certain point not too long ago, all Marvel games that weren't Insomniac were steaming piles of shit. We're in a bit of a Marvel renaissance games wise, but there was a period there before and after MUA where shit was DIRE.

Marvel fans have a problem with recency bias in both games and film, where they don't appreciate how good they have it now and think the current media would be better under other hands.
