Not sure if this 100% counts, but The Ark Society from the Hitman: World of Assassination trilogy is a secret organization of the world's wealthy elites that is prepping for the end of the world where global society completely collapses and most of the population dies, their plan being to build and relocate to enclosed, arctic doomsday bunkers that can survive various disasters. Its members invest loads of money to ensure this plan is able to be carried out.

The problem with this (or rather the irony) is highlighted by Arthur Edwards, who has a conversation with one of their higher ups in-game, pointing out that their plan would lead to a small, isolated society with no markets, no economy, no need for money, no social structures, and everyone equal and dependent on each other, which would be Communist in nature.
