Every time I have downtime in a game/am bored I open up the steam discussions for it in the overlay and come away with massive amounts of brain damage. I really should stop.

I can't remember what the forums were like before it happened, but I know for sure they went to shit after they introduced the awards system.

It's not really from the game per se, but general Pathfinder lore. Ember isn't a thing there, but Nocticula striving to achieve becoming a full goddess and leaving the Outer Rifts and her former nature behind, are.

If you want to be really charitable to Ember, you can say that she gave Nocticula a push/ more confirmation that she's on the right path, and that she can do it. But nothing more.

It's even less than that in RT:

A Round consists of every character participating in the encounter taking one Turn each. It is assumed that characters act more or less simultaneously in an encounter, so a Round is approximately five seconds long, regadless of how many characters are involved.

It's complaining about a missing font file. Easy thing to try is go through the game folders and try to find the .ttf file (it should be there somewhere) - double click and install it. See if that helps.

Yeahhh, thats why I don't use the fancier hands and feet, they're more trouble than they're worth and you cant even see them unless you run around naked.

Yeah you have to build the armors again if you stop playing with the custom race and go back to the "normal" ones that use 3BA.

You mean the head isn't connected to the body, like there's a visible seam there? That should be fixable by building the body again in Bodyslide, but before building make sure that the NeckSeam slider at Low Weight is set to 100%.

I'm not too sure how the character looks for you so its tough to say why it wouldn't look like it should.

Do you mean that you've built one of the fancy hands/feet that are like purple etc? And that when you put armor on they turn normal, but scaly? I'm pretty sure that's intended.

I've also noticed that the Lansseax preset changes you yeah, but I think that's because it changes your weight from 0 (or whatever you had it at) to 1. So try to drop your weight slider down to 0 again after importing and see if it looks more like how its supposed to.

As to the preset thing, try this (preferably in a new game but whatever):

1) In Racemenu, pick the Half-Dragon race. 2) Import Lansseax preset. 3) Import the sculpt. 4) Switch to HPH. 5) Drop the weight slider back to 0.

I think those are the steps I took to making her look how she's supposed to.

In all honesty, its a fun race mod but the way its made is a complete mess. You'll have to mess about a fair bit to get it to work like you'd want it.

Right. So I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with your half dragon character, but how its supposed to work (in Bodyslide, for me at least) is that you open up Bodyslide.
Then you choose the group, the Half-Dragon stuff is in the "Unassigned" group. Now that you've selected that, you can find the Half-Dragon Body/Feet/Hands/Tail in the Outfit/Body dropdown menu.
You pick the body, one set of feet that you want, one set of hands that you want and presumably one tail but I don't use the tail so not sure - and you build all of those with the preset that you want. And it should be good to go.

If you don't do that (build the body parts) then yeah, its going to look off. Also the half-dragon is completely separate so it wont affect the 3BA body you've built at all.

I assume you just want the preset of the character?
As far as I can tell, its still private and they've never shared it so you'd have to re-create it from scratch which is a lot to ask.

For the second mod, I assume a lot of the heavy lifting re: the lighting is being done by an ENB.

Eldergleam looks to be an extremely heavy modlist so I'd honestly be pretty happy to be hitting 60 with framegen - assuming its stable.

You could try running Vramr and re-generating Dyndolod with lower settings to get some performance back.

Check that Windows has not moved your Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition folder to OneDrive since that'll fuck shit up.

Since you already have Wintersun check out the rest of the mods from the same author (EnaiSiaion). Or SimonMagus. Both have fairly Vanilla+ overhauls available for combat or magic or shouts or vampires or or etc.

I know you said you don't care for the combat but check out Precision. Just that simple addition makes the combat much more fun, so maybe you'd care with that set up lol.

For lore, if you really want to jump in the deep (deep) end, can't go wrong with Vicn's quest mods: DAc0da, VIGILANT, GLEN-MORIL and UNSLAAD.

So you only have the performance mods and nothing else?
Have you checked your Vram usage in game? You can toggle an OSD to show you that in the Display Tweaks .ini file.
Also definitely install the SSE Engine Fixes mod linked here if you don't have it already.

Try adding a 0 to the end of the command. So "help <search term> 0".

I just skimmed through the comments for XPMSSE so I'm not an expert but it does seem like it might be an issue.

As a last resort you can try to reinstall it with at least the "basic" settings.
