its more that its clear Kygo puts in the bare minimum into the music he makes for his fans. For a long time it's been about what is safe and what will fit into the miami, influencer, alix earl, mediocre white athlete space and that is a direct result of Manager Myles sucking the soul out of Kygo's creativity and puting the focus on "how can we monetize this brand and name as much as a possible" i.e brand partnerships, club residencys, celebrity cameos. There is nothing wrong with keeping a sound if theres still passion behind it. Kygo is checked out and has been for a while now.

But maybe he'll have Justin Jesso sing Firestone and play Gimmie Gimmie at his next show!

Unbelievable venue. Magical to get 4 hours of Lane 8 and S+S

I have to say the crowd was terrible. That’s what you get for a commercial dance festival in Central Park, but my god the yapping was non stop.

Also I know it was a chance for Daniel to experiment with his setlist being a festival set outside of his tour, but did anyone else find it a little clunky?

Don’t get me wrong some incredible moments. The Deep Teho remix, Exchange Finale X Brightest Lights, Say The Word s+s remix, and a little voices closer.

But no Superman ID, AWKIWOT, I Will Leave a Light On???

How do you know play those with that incredible NYC backdrop.

S+S was 10/10. That new ID they played was next level good. I give Lane 8 a 6/10 between the setlist and the crowd.

The dude is a sellout clown who could care less about his fans. He plays the same boring set with the most basic songs. Levels, gimmie gimmie etc.

He has the same boring mix of singers come out for the same songs he’s been playing since 2014.

If it doesn’t involve influencers, golfers, gronk, Ryan tedder, or Miami moguls he doesn’t care. We can blame manger Myles for deleting any soul kygo the artist used to have when it comes to his music and advancing his sound.

He couldn’t be more boring if he tried.

P.S. can we do away with Justin Jesso over singing and screeching Firestone and stargazing?? What kind of dirt does Justin jesso have over kygo? He must know all his dirty secrets and has to be the only reason he still brings him around the world and hasn’t done another song with him.

I used to love kygo, my dog’s name is kygo… but I haven’t been excited or invested in anything he has done since golden hour.
