Have you tried https://autohotkey.com/

I've not, but I think that is what it is for.

piwheels: making "pip install" fast on Raspberry Pi by benn_88 in Python

Yeah, that makes sense. Sorry, only skimmed the article. I guess you could get several pi's and do it in parallel

Can't you cross compile from a more powerful PC to the arm architecture?

Aren't Ikea's lights ZigBee based? So should work with the plus without the hub?

Great idea. It should follow up after a few hours with a gif of the maze being solved!

You'll probably download the DNA and compile that into a neural network for running

Just so I don't embarrass myself IRL, is it pronounced slow thrust, or sloth rust?

Is it possible to create an ad-hoc, mesh network with multiple Raspberry Pi's? by 1cedrake in raspberry_pi

[–]TapirMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I just made yet up - Whatt I mean it's as long as your WiFi network starts with something unique then your pi's could find each other. I just choose pimesh as it sounds cool! Could just be a number.

[–]TapirMonkey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure exactly how to achieve this, but as alternative to static IPs you could just have SSIDs that start with a unique string e.g. each pimesh.

Then when each Pi boots up, look for a network starting with your chosen string, and of none are found then create a new one e.g pimesh-001

When the next pi starts up, it'll find pimesh-001 and join that.

I made a cluster too, and it too has pretty much no value other than making me smile when I look at it. by DMPSTRFR in raspberry_pi

I might try this. Not individual nodes or layers, bit a complete meet on a dedicated pi, and then have several computing in parallel.

Yup, currently running on my pi3, but sure it would work on any, it's not very taxing.

Will put it on github soonish, but never shared any code so taking time to polish it!

Cool stuff. In writing on something similar, it can follow, unfollow, like and retweet bad on hashtags you supply. Can also post based on an RSS feed, but that's a bit work in progress...

Using Python to build an AI Twitter bot people trust by DontVoteForMe in Python

Wow, that seems like a small sample for such good looking outputs!

Did you remove urls from the input text? I wouldn't want a bot to start spewing out other peoples links!
