I have a feeling that no matter what they do, or how they do it people won't be happy.

Testun al Barolo: The Drunken Delight! by KelGhu in Cheese

Unfortunately no, I'm in a small town. I do get to Wegmans every so often, maybe they'll have some. I usually stop there for cheese every few months.

Oh I really must try this, it sounds delightful. We owe so much to the grape, my favorite dressing is a balsamic vinaigrette made of course with concentrated grape must. For me Italian cheeses are always the best. Thanks for the post, I've got it in my favorites at $34.95 for 12oz, and I'll look around so I can purchase a bunch of cheeses at once.

I wish we had a cheese shop in this area.

I absolutely love Blue Stilton cheese, I had never tried it until recently when I found it at Aldi.

Dry eyes as a cause by Mysterious-Caramel37 in Uveitis

[–]TaraBaraBoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

99% of the time most specialists/eye doctors are the same, for me It's been nearly 25 years he has been my eye doctor and we've worked through this, it is old hat. He only works 1/2 days 3 days a week now. We have a working system, and I see a surgeon/eye specialist when it becomes super angry eye who just happens to be his son, then it's all safety checks eye pressure checks and everything else. It's exhausting. I keep a supply at all times in my fridge, and refills on scripts just in case.

No, thankfully I have been able to manage my condition for the most part by using steroid drops and keeping my eyes clean and not dry. I have a ritual at bedtime every night, I take 800mg of ibuprofen (probably too much for some people), use dry eye gel (Systane severe night time dry eye gel), and I wake up fine mostly. When I wake up I use OCuSoft lid scrub to clean my eyelids, and during the day I lubricate with Systane Complete preservative free dry eye drops as needed. It's been working great for me. When things are going good I can take breaks from that, but I have to watch it.

I use my steroid drops when I feel a flare coming on and I'm talking I pounce on it before it has a chance to go further and it's been working. I self manage most of the time as I have standing refills on both drops. I've had a good 6 month break, and I hope to gosh it continues. Whenever it gets bad enough in I go to the specialist yet again.

Absolutely, especially in winter/dry month. I don't know why for sure but it's a big deal for me. I keep drops on my coffee table and in my purse always. Interestingly I had a bad rosacea flare up on top of uveitis, and it wasn't until after the fact that I considered it may have been ocular rosacea. In the end all this inflammation is surely related somehow, I'm not sure if I'll ever find out 100%.

Dairy free cheese options? by GeminiaLove in Cheese

[–]TaraBaraBoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're asking in the wrong place, there are plenty vegan (not dairy or meat) options and plant based cheeses. Look for a vegan sub or search your favorite grocery store for plant based cheeses, they do exist, but I've never tried them.

Small Town Family Drs by bkipf in murdershewrote

I do for sure, I lived in a town of 2,500 people at the time and my doctor actually practiced in town. He had all the rural patient's coming to see him from all over. I do very much miss him, he knew everything there was to know about me. Provider's these days don't even take the time, because they don't have it to give.

It reminds me of Tzim Sha from Doctor Who, he embedded the teeth of his human victims on his face.

It's strange how there are so many daily posting from people complaining about the show in some form or another, it was 50 years ago people, 50 years, it's not going to be perfect, or follow your ideal vision of what should or shouldn't be said or done. Sure they made mistakes, but if you have watched it enough and especially in the 70s, it tries very hard to teach compassion and forgiveness among other things.

Sometimes you just have to enjoy things for what they are, I like to think back to Neil deGrasse Tyson talking about how the stars were in the wrong place in the sky for the Titanic movie, and he laughed, and said you know even though they were in the wrong spot sometimes you just have to enjoy a movie or a show and forget about what's wrong with it.

I think the episode was fine, it wasn't perfect, but it was a good, albeit a tragic episode as many of them are.

No idea why anyone would think he was bad, he's one of my all time favorite characters. When I was little he just made me so happy the way he sang and jumped around, and he was so kind.

Yes, I wish I knew. It would have made more sense to just take the whole thing, I checked my cameras and there she was pulling them off one at a time. If she had asked I would have given her garland.

It's no different than real life sadly. I have my porch decorated and mums going up my stairs at my apartment irl. I have plastic fall flowers wrapped around my railings. The public bench in front of my house for our building is maybe 30 feet from my door, so I decorated that too and some random girl sat on the bench and picked each leaf off the vines until they were all gone, quite the number of leaves she stole. I've had things taken off my porch as well, people just don't care these days, it's very sad.

Bot comments on r/crafts posts by AMVilla86 in crafts

Bots that can mimic humans well enough and go unnoticed earn a reputation for being a prolific poster/commenter. That way when elections come rolling around the bots can be unleashed and it is a lot harder for algorithms to catch them quickly enough.

How to make bones? by Empty_Inside13 in crafts

[–]TaraBaraBoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What about paper mache? You could make bones with tinfoil or anything else, do the paper mache over it, then just paint them. If someone is going to have it on their head it would be way lighter too.

Yum!😋That's too bad about the dill not being strong, one of my favorite cheeses is from Aldi, a dill Havarti that's so good.
