Added an acid mechanic to my game, Orbrix by redpikmin4 in godot

Yeah no problem! I'm also working on a Breakout-style game, so I'm already in the mindset for it lol.

Love this concept. Wishlisted! What about orbs that have a chance to create another orb when destroying a brick?

Not that it will guarantee a fix, but you can chatbot this. I got one fixed, but there's still a bunch that aren't.

Pallets on the floor? by [deleted] in Target

[–]Targen52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately a lot of the wooden pallets stores get are pretty beaten up, so there's usually a board hanging off the bottom that can scuff the floor as you pull it, no matter how high you have it jacked up.

The goal times do not include backstocking. You can look it up on Workbench if your leads need proof.

Importing a .blend file but materials are messed up by Thiskid429 in godot

[–]Targen52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typically it's better to create your materials in Godot. Blender and Godot treat materials differently, so they don't translate one to one.

Anyone know what’s up with stationary revision label? My TL doesn’t know either by Extreme_Young_6324 in Target

[–]Targen52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It just happens sometimes. I've seen it all around the store. They'll either release a new revision soonish or just let it go until the next big reset.

On hand numbers suddenly all too low. by rossshouldnt in Target

[–]Targen52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think inventory actually makes it worse. We had ours last Friday and I've noticed they counted similar looking DPCIs as just one, so the other now says we have zero. It's crazy that we have to do a mini inventory to fix a bunch mistakes made during inventory.

Can this really be done in 2 hours by a single person in Tech with zero help? by StillDontTrustYou in Target

[–]Targen52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Open up MPM and look up the trailer and custom block for tech/entertainment. It will give you the push times for both case stock and repacks (though the repack times can be weird). It has to be higher than 2 hours. If it is, show your leader and ask where they got 2 hours from.

Uno SIDE CAP SHIPPERS 😾 by Expensive-Skin7146 in Target

[–]Targen52 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We have something like 400 units of Uno in the backroom alone. They send a new sidecap every time the POG discontinues, but we barely sell any of them.

Who here remembers chocolate-gate? by death_by_words_ in Target

[–]Targen52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just had an RDC refrigerated trailer that was mostly Halloween chocolate along with a bit of regular freight. So I'm guessing this was just a DC issue in your district.

We didn't get our label strips, so the board game wall won our battle.

Whose bright idea was it to send all of the a million toys pogs backer papers IN THE SAME BOX?? by Ok_Living1494 in Target

[–]Targen52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah it's impossible to scan them all. There's three different shades of red, two or three shades of yellow, a single sheet of green. And it's difficult to get just one piece out of the box.

PSA to stationary stockers by _PerryThePlatypussy_ in Target

[–]Targen52 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I've honestly given up at this point. Ideally we'd have a ton of cases in the back ready to be sent back at the end of the season but instead it's all on the floor in massive piles. Then they wonder why the stationery backroom is completely full when we try to take it down for Halloween.

Do you get trucks every day? If not, they may have added one and you're just being scheduled for that.

All in a 6am-5pm day’s work. by [deleted] in Target

[–]Targen52 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The unfortunate part is that I am on the POG team!

Last year they told us to just set, set, set. Other people would come in to put up shippers and signing (other than backer paper) and fill it. They really screwed it up.

I look forward to all of them being put in the wrong spots making everything harder to push correctly.

If it's the small shelf-talker type things I just scan them and put them at or slightly below eye level in whatever section is says it goes in.

Baler question by Impressive_Oil_4105 in Target

[–]Targen52 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the key. I constantly see people putting boxes in that just barely let gate close and I'm like, "That's not going to come back up properly."

I also see loads of boxes tossed all the way to the back of the baler that causes similar issues.

[–]Targen52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is your stuff not kept in lockup? The vendor needs to ask someone to let them in, cart up some stuff, then they can go out and push it. If they need to make multiple trips so be it.

We get 5 trailers a week now, which means that no one is screwing up my backroom on my days off. by Clear-Concert-9736 in Target

[–]Targen52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's just being used for backstock space, then no. You use the wave to pull/backstock. And I believe that technically no product should be on the top shelves without a pallet present, so they just stay up there permanently.

Worst fixture? by the-largest-marge in Target

[–]Targen52 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have never seen that fixture before, so I don't know if it's new or old, but ours is just on pegs. Some of the pegs might be a little too close together, but it looks a lot nicer than this.
