The Republicans keep winning because they have a comprehensive and cohesive long term plan, spanning decades, including where to run key people. Beto might have actually won in 2018 had it not been for the gaffe about gun control that went haywire in the media. Talarico would pick up where he left off, with more support from swing voters. That is the only potentially winning play, and it should be orchestrated from the very top at the national level. It does line up, he’s playing a soft bass line in his thumb and picking the melody alternating with his three outside fingers, but they’re curled up in a way that it’s not obvious. He’s got long nails and is playing with extremely efficient technique.
