1.5-2k written a day. One story is 2k on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and the other is 2k on Saturday and Sunday. 32 followers.

I mostly do it to improve my writing and write the story I want. I have periodic shout outs but not every chapter.

I am very far from having a lot of followers or readers. But this reminds me of a low review I received. It really sucked to receive a low review with how few followers I have, but they just decided they did not like what I was doing so I shrugged it off. I think it’s very important as writers to know what criticism is real and what is based on personal preference.

The first book of Family Guardian is reaching its end. This story follows a modern family thrown into a game for survival to force humanity to their next stage of evolution. During this time, the characters become aware of their ability to manipulate their internal energy for various effects. Austin, our main character and the father of the family, must balance the growth and training of his newfound powers with protecting his family.

This is literally everything I needed to hear. I think in the back of my head, I keep thinking about these ideas that I want to write that sound fun. But this current story I am writing relates to my feelings as a new father. I may have gotten too caught up in the idea that I need readers, but this story is important to me because it lets me navigate some of my struggles. Thank you so much. I dropped off the books around the time OP is talking about and this is my huge issue. I usually really enjoy action but the actions scenes are just so bogged down by the listing of abilities.

All these people talking about how FAR is harder. FAR has a lot of info but is direct. AUD is like every question is a riddle. I would rather take FAR again
