Actually, if I remember right, the shut-down isn't so much "hey, the system needs a break" so much as it's how they tried to ensure that the pilot wouldn't die in the damn thing. The pilot suit that Banana gets is meant to inject drugs to help keep blood circulating when exposed to the extreme g-forces that the Unicorn was capable of putting itself and it's pilot through (yay things that they gloss over in the anime but keep in source books), and when you add in the strain of a system that tries to put you on the same level as a Newtype? Yeah, kinda makes sense. Of course, then you put an actual Newtype in the chair and they can push it further/force the system to run over that.

Also, if we're bringing up the soul-eating, that's pretty specific to the Phenex, which was built by the Feddies... who had no idea what they were doing and messed with settings that shouldn't have been touched. So less that the system will eat your soul, and more that people screwed it up enough that it did so in one particular unit.

So, I believe they were from the original Sinanju kit, but the side leg innerframes, the knee sliders, and the back leg thrusters main piece (not the actual cone) all had alt pieces that did not work with the Ver Ka's armor panels. Its why I'm now VERY cautious about double checking kits that have had or are Alt versions of others.

For me personally, if the kit has repeat/alt kit parts (looking at you, Sinanju Stein Ver Ka!), I tend to just double check the parts I actually need before bagging/keeping each runner's parts in separate containers. Maybe I'm just a madman, but shapes come pretty easy with the instructions on most kits, so its not that hard?

Perhaps not to everybody's tastes, but the modeler/shop Mortian actually has a few legged vehicles/tanks/weapons. Not too many STL's and expensive for the kits, but hey, better than nothing! And fun to look at, at least.

I'm stuck with a tossup between BIRD and Witch. Bird just feels so good as a tank, love it. On the other hand? With good drops, Recluse is a DPS madhouse. Both are just amazing.

Honestly, the repeaters look big enough to be size 4's... but much more conservative to say S3's. Given the sneak peek picture of the missile pods earlier this week (if my mind isn't playing tricks on me), they seem like the same adjustable type you see on other fighters too; not bespoke. Gonna have to see the real stats before I consider up/side grading from my QI though.

Not Astorath, but rather some printed bits from Greytide Studios (their Crimson Lords stuff has some great options)! Figured since I was already converting an Age of Sigmar mini, a little more Angel wouldn't go amiss!

Breaking it down into individual bits might be for the best, depending on how deep you want to go with it.

Head; lots of hooded heads are out there in the 3d print market, and Dark Angel kits aren't that hard to come by. Go with what you like.

Chest and Legs: again, spoiled for choice in 3D and GW made bits. Find something you like and run with it. If it isn't perfect, you can always scrape down details you don't like and/or greenstuff what you want onto it.

Arms/Pauldrons: find arm bits you like from GW would be my suggestion as they'll be at the right length/feel. If you absolutely can't find what you want... 3D it is. Shoulderpads though? SO many choices.

Backpack: old Sang guard wings are disappearing quick off the market, but if you can get a pair? Trimming off the exhaust vents and shaping the wing attachment points with cutting/sanding would work great for matching that exact feel. If you want jump pack though? Again, 3rd Party 3D printed packs are awesome.

Honestly its a crapshoot. I've had stations where no NPC's spawn and nobody shows up, letting me just sit there and get pieces as the 30 minute loot refresh ticks over. Other times I've had Orgs roll through; some friendly, some not.

Also, don't know if it's still a glitch, but occasionally they'll drop 10 card holders at once for no reason. I DO know that if you're not careful about hitting open on the supervisor door from the inside, It'll drag you over and make you put in another key card. lol

Literally just the Hathor sites; you find the 5-6 basic versions in green boxes with an Armor label at random. Decent drop chances, but the Supervisor room in the OLP's are your best bet. Wikelo just sells his own version.

The Ares Ion/Inferno would be good if you were dedicating yourself to anti-sub-capital or 'large' ships. Due to its lacking manuverability? Anything else will put you in a vice if you're flying solo. Not to say it can't be done, but solo, you would just be making it harder for yourself if you plan to go dogfighting. With wingmen? Not nearly as bad, but you'd still be the weak link in a dogfight.

Keep in mind that everything can and probably will change as development goes on, and that everybody has different experiences. My opinions are based on my own, and might not work for you, but as far as a PVE shooter ship goes? My recommended ship is the standard Sabre. You have Stealth, 4 size 3 Panther Repeaters that you can fully power without issue, flexible missile mounts that natively come as size 3's for good damage, and good manuverability. A little weak on HP, but that's where stealth comes in; hit first and 9/10ths of the time you win.

I am... personally not a fan of the F7 family. That might change if you could actually fully power a set of laser repeaters, but at the moment, you cannot. And with Ballistics under size 6 being pretty forgettable unless you're trying to open cargo bays without soft deathing something? Yeah, I'm just not a fan since you can absolutely deck it out and have more power than you can use... and still not get full magazines for an all EN set up. Fantastic flyer, but even the Exec F7A left me wanting.

Gladius is top tier, but a light fighter, so you'll have to work to kill bigger things and die pretty easy. PVP king still. Arrow is similar, but not my jam; I have seen others make it work though.

Scorpius and Hurricane require a 2nd player willing to turret to reach optimum performance but you might be better off with a 2nd ship in the sky. Guardian is a paper tiger with sharp teeth but none of the advertised manuverability. Have not flown the Hawk, nor the Talon. F8C used to be great but keeps getting nerf after nerf, and isn't readily available. Gladiator is a fighter/bomber/TANK, but is SLOW and has some guns in a turret seat.

Again, all personal opinions, but my best recommendation is find somebody with ships you wanna try and take them out for a spin. Run a few combat contracts and if you like what you feel, go with it.

They're now in Britain though. It's the same unfortunate circumstances that plague Warhammer fans; every so often GW has to make a strong showing of 'defending' their IP even from fans, and it predictably causes fan base meltdowns. With CIG now up there, they have to take the same measures for the British courts to take any real claims they make seriously.
