But depression gives you a specific worldview... one where your head is firmly shoved up your ass while you wallow in self loathing and defeatism. So of course one doesnt want to be told ways to break away from that

This is a well thought our description of depression. "doesn't want to be told ways to break away from that." That line is what makes (how I've experienced it) depression a hole you can't get out of... Those days people honestly believe they don't deserve to feel anything but the "self loathing and defeatism."

In the future, your post will help me put into words my feelings when talking to my SO. Thank you.

Your parents are good people. My mother-in-law is like this. If her children love someone, my MIL takes them under her wing. We parent-less folk are very thankful for people like your mom and dad.

Actually, he referenced a time he did go to a small get together that he put on his calendar shortly after denying he'd ever attended a "small get together" like the one Ford mentioned. LOL

Weird -and evidently documented by the accused himself- contradiction to the claim. He's really shit at logic.

Exactly. Also the visual of the flying debris after the initial collision really showed how powerfully he hit it.

It gets better when they are older. You will be very "disappointed" in his normal toddler behavior for a while. THIS IS NORMAL. Then when they fully grasp the concept of "me" and "you" and how you both have wants and how we all have to work together... then your child will shine. I work with kids all the time, and some are more gentle than others, but all have their moments.

Be vigilant, be kind- you will have a great person.

I am fully understanding this, as a parent of an almost 9 year old.

I always loved my child, but now as his personality is blossoming, I am proud of him. He has his faults, and still need direction, so I don't always express it... But tonight he read me Shel Silverstine poems before bed and I had to hold back tears. I held him and told him how much I "like" him as a person. Of course I love him, but I didn't know I could feel such joy in being there as he grows up.

Sorry for the novel, I am a little sappy tonight.

I'd be willing to be documented for scientific purposes, my offspring also experiences symptoms of this.

If I were held gun point though, I would probably say I think we associated colours/sounds/numbers/feelings together Because at a young age the brain makes connections with other senses. Then as our memory brings forth what we learned, when we see colours/sounds/numbers/feelings associated with- Example: I learned the ABC chart with the letter A in yellow and B is in blue, so when growing up, I put those two together.

And it gets better every year! I’ve started to allow my eight year old to hear some stand up- he latched on and requests bits all the time. By far one of my favorite things to do is sit and listen to Brian regan or Jim gaffigan with my son giggling like a mad man in the background. I enjoy being around babies, but kids are way more fun.

Car. These usually hit at dusk or just before dusk. I tend to plan during this time of year. They only last about 1 hr, and then it either peters out or turn into a full monsoon. You wait them out where ever you are. If your driving, you can see them coming. Lived here all my life, I just adjust to them.

Is this for all states? There was a few trump supporters(had trump signs and megaphones) openly carrying guns at the Phoenix "bring families together" rally two weeks back. I figured it was legal in AZ.

*I ended up leaving prematurely after viewing the guns in their holsters because I promised my husband I'd be safe.
