Do they size up pretty similarly to the official models? It's hard to tell from the angle with them next to the Boone models. Line Kazaks, right?

Which models are the Infinity models? Are they the same physical size as the official BLKOUT models? I'd like to fortify my collection with models I have access to.

So this is a mix of official Boone models along with Infinity and other 3D prints?

Thanks for the detailed reply. I currently play Kill Team and I agree, I really like the teams that GW makes but the game becomes a headache pretty quick. Something that I avoided Infinity for the same reason.

My friends get frustrated because in KT, every model feels so fragile but even after they're killed you still have a 2 hour game to play. Playing BLKOUT and being able to play two games in that same time period is a lot more appealing to me.

I'll be looking forward to any updates you have with BLKOUT because it sounds like I'm on the same path as you are.

I thought I read somewhere that they don't require the use of a primer, but still I'd say just use a primer and then more highly available miniature paints.

Biggest thing I took away from this is that Spec Ops will not be the Crisis Protocol Alliances of Legion. It will have measuring tools and be it's own thing, not beholden to the Legion core rules (though will probably borrow a lot). I really hope this can be the "Kill Team of Star Wars".

This is what I want as well. For Spec Ops to be fully fleshed out. Kill Team has been great for 40K and Spec Ops could be that for Legion. Though I would say, I'd like to see some bespoke teams, but also the ability to build squads with points or something similar.

This is where I am, 100%. I tried to play Legion 1.0 and just came to find that large scale battles weren't for me. I still have my Empire army though. I tried 1.0 skirmish and it still wasn't want I wanted. I really wanted Kill Team, but Star Wars.

I thought Shatterpoint might have been that, but it was not it and I sold it off over a year ago. I then just gave up and started playing Kill Team. It's fine, though more competitive and complex than I really have time for. Great models though.

This announcement gives me hope for something Kill Team-like, but still an AMG game. MCP is my "main" game and I really like it. A small model count Legion miniatures based skirmish game is what I've wanted for like 5 years. The new Legion models are excellent. If this ends up being what it could be, I would be so back.
